I booked this rv months in advance of my trip and the whole process with outdoorsy and communication with Folkert was seamless. The peace of mind with the insurance coverage made the trip a breeze. The van is reliable, set up well for 2 people to enjoy the outdoors and drives really well. The pick up and drop off process was easy and Folkert was a great host, very communicative, responsive and friendly, always open to feedback and anything he could do to make the trip easy. Would highly recommend.

The RV was great! It was well prepared for our trip by Folkert and had everything we needed for a small trip up to Tofino. Car ran super smoothly and had zero issues. Requires a bit of moving things around when it comes to bed time but there’s heaps of storage space!! Was super easy communicating with Folkert and he gave us lots of good tips for campgrounds and things to explore.

Frequently asked questions

Q.

When can we pick up and drop off the van?

A.

Our usual pick-up time is 3pm and our usual return time is 11am. We always try to be flexible on these though depending on your needs and our own schedule and if the van is booked before or after your stay.

Q.

Why do you have a kilometre overage fee?

A.

The kilometre overage fee gives renters the option to explore further for a fee, and covers us for any maintenance costs and wear and tear caused by excessive driving. This allows us to keep our nightly rate low for people who don’t plan on driving as much!

Q.

How does the kilometre overage fee work?

A.

The rental includes 125km of travel distance per day that you rent. This is cumulative, so you are not limited to only 125km per actual day. For example, if you rent the van for 5 days, you have 125x5=625km for your entire trip. We often find that people don't go over this at all during their stay but sometimes we do have renters that go over by a bit.
