Helpful, flexible, communicative

Provided thorough RV walkthroughs, answered questions promptly, and offered flexible pickup/drop-off. Some reviewers noted inconsistent post-rental communication regarding promised refunds and non-obvious additional fees.

Drives well with wear

The RV drives well and is comfortable for families. However, it shows significant wear, including missing shower glass/curtain, wobbly table, and threadbare awning. Safety issues like a faulty CO detector and missing smoke detector battery, plus a worn sewage O-ring and slide-out malfunction, were reported.

This was our first RV experience and Drew was a great host, helping walk us through the ins and outs of the RV and assuring we had everything we need. While the RV has some wear and tear i.e., no glass on the shower, wobbly table, etc., though the worst of it was a 'worn' o-ring on the sewage pipe, which made for a 'not so plesant' first-time dumping experience... That said, when I informed him of the O-ring issue, I believe he intended on fixing it, so hopefully future renters don't have the same 'messy' issue I had. All in all, it's a decent value for what you're paying. The only other thing to be aware of is there's both a setup ($74) and a cleaning fee ($75) that you have to pay. Drew agreed to waive our cleaning fee because we paid for delivery ($200+) but ended up having to pick up and drop off the RV at his house. While renting the RV, his communication was prompt, but it's fallen off after the fact, while we were trying to get the refund he promised us. To be frank, this could also be on the Outdoorsy's end as they claim to be waiting on his response, and it's been almost 6 days now.

Drew was a gracious host and communicated well. The unit drove well and was the format we were looking for. There was an issue with the slide out that Drew and I communicated about that I helped troubleshoot (the motors were out of sync and one of the direction toggles had reversed). Once I corrected that, the slide out worked but upon putting it out the floor area under the slide out was very dirty as was the cabinets under the kitchen seats. During check-in, there was only one set of sheets and blanket, no towels, and no eating utensils even though we had messaged during booking if we would need to bring anything for our family. Drew got us two towels and some plastic utensils, but we still had to buy additional towels, sheets, and blankets for our kids to use. There is no shower curtain, the CO detector keeps going while just using the cabin or RV heater, there was no battery in the smoke detector, and the coffee maker leaks when you put water in it, some of the shades are missing or don’t function completely and the awning is threadbare. There is apparently an additional cleaning fee that Drew waived due to the troubleshooting we completed that was not obvious.
