Easy, comfortable driving experience
The older, well-maintained pop-top camper van is easy to drive and quick to set up. It offers a comfortable upper bed, awning, backup camera, and a functional fridge. Note: AC only works while driving, and the sink/faucet is often non-operational. A sleeping pad for the lower bed is recommended.

5.0Great host, very responsive. He took time to introduce the whole vehicle to us at pick up, and drop off was easy and smooth. The van is older with some quirks, but it’s been well-maintained. 3 things to note: it has air conditioning when it drives, but not when it’s parked for the night, so warm summer nights might be a struggle; the water/faucet does not work, so plan to bring a water cube to fill up to have in camp; the lower bed needs some sort of foam topper in my opinion. Perhaps that’s included in the add-on bedding package, but we didn’t opt for that. After 2 nights without one, we needed to go to a store to buy one. Everything else was great—loved having the awning and outdoor rug, there was plenty of storage for all our things, the headspace was amazing when the top was popped, the upper bed was fantastic for our kid—like her own little fort up there, and everything functioned as advertised. We’ve been life-long tent campers. This was our first foray into campers/RVs, and we really enjoyed it—We’re already looking forward to our next camper van trip!

The bed was really comfortable for 3 nights at a music festival and kept me completely dry during a storm one afternoon. The backup camera is a big plus. I also added on the battery charger and it lasted the entire weekend with a decent amount of charge left over. My camping neighbors all commented on how cool the van was. Early check ins and late check outs are mostly dependent on whether there is another renter prior to or right after the booking. Please communicate your plans for drop off as close to the preferred time as possible, but let me know right away if you have a specific request for an early check in or a late check out.
