1987 Volkswagen Westfalia
Van Burgundy is a 1987 Automatic Vanagon Westfalia Pop-Top :Seat belts for 4 passengers, sleeps 4 adults, propane stove, sink, 10 gallon water tank, refrigerator/ice box, GoYeti Solar powered charger, rear wheel drive, ARB awning, and roof racks with surfboard straps.I just got back from a 3-month cross country roadtrip from California to Florida and back. This van is fun to drive and has a Subaru 2.2L engine swap. With the high-powered Subaru engine it is capable of keeping up on the interstate. Please keep in mind that this is a unique vehicle that requires more attention than a modern vehicle. Keep in mind that when going over mountain passes or steep grades it will slow down to maybe 40-45 mph. This is normal and part of the journey. Please do not push it too hard. Not able to go off road. Typical gravel roads maintained by parks departments are fine. Go slow and avoid pot holes. You want this vehicle because the Westy is a classic and single handedly started the original campervan movement. You will be turning heads at every stop sign and every stop light. No better way to enjoy a journey and make memories than to take a trip in a Westy. Enjoy :)What's includedThis rental includes 125 miles per Paid Night with additional miles charged at $0.50 per mile. While this van is perfectly capable of traveling 300+ miles per day, it is best to keep your daily mileage under 200 miles, especially in hot weather. If you do need to travel extensive periods in a day, please take a few rests for you and the van.Included Equipment:
