5.0Commodore was great. You can really tell it’s a labor of love and it served as a great mobile base of operations for us exploring Texas! Chris and Cally were also extremely pleasant and communicative hosts!

Frequently asked questions
Q.
Can I run the fridge and Air Conditioner and all that without shore power?
A.
Short answer, YES! The A/C has it's own battery pack, but it still has to be charged by plugging it in. The main battery for the van can be charged with solar or even DC to DC charge from the engine. Main cavaet (as with all 12V systems) -- don't leave the inverter on when you aren't using it.
Q.
What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We try to be pretty flexible with delivery and pickup. We would rather not drop off/pick up at the airport, but we'll do the exchange at one of the shuttle accessible car lots, for example.
Q.
How big is the bed?
A.
The bed is technically a Twin XL (basically an extra long twin). It fits tall people very well and can fit two adults snugly - think camping in a two person tent, but on a thick foam matress rather than the ground.
