Welcome to our Overland Trailer! This is a 2022 Slacklander made by Big Slack Off Road. It has a Smitty Built Overland XL tent (about a king size unit) with rain fly on it. There is a kitchen in the back and a refrigerator that slides out on the side with oodles of storage. There is a pass-through compartment, two small, deep storage compartments, two large storage compartments, and one large compartment under the kitchen area. The fenders are sturdy enough to sit on. There is a spare tire I added because I didn't order the "real" spare tire. The propane stove is powered by a small tank on the exterior. There is a 100W solar panel to help keep the battery charged. If you vehicle is wired for reverse and charge wires, the reverse lights will work and the battery will charge from your vehicle while plugged in/running. There is a 15 gallon water tank on board with pump for the sink and lots of exterior lighting (rocks lights, side lights, compartment lights, & kitchen lights). The compartments lock using the same key. There is USB charging in the kitchen area to charge phones, etc. There are (4) stabilizer jacks to be used when the tent is in use, unless it is hooked to a tow vehicle.
This trailer weights about 1400lb empty with a Gvwr of 2200lbs. We have used it camping and enjoy the storage (ie giant trunk) that you can tow anywhere off road. I have a 2" ball hitch or articulating hitch, depending on what you are doing with it (ball hitch is easier if you aren't doing serious off roading with it). It has 33" AT tires on it and tows well.This unit does have electric brakes and a standard 7-way plug. Please make sure you have adapters if you don't have a 7-way plug.
