The 2022 Winnebago Solis is typically clean, in great condition, and easy to drive, accommodating families well. However, one rental lacked an advertised generator and had a 2-year expired license plate.

3.0We rented the RV to go to Coachella. Allen the host was great with communication and when I met him you can tell he’s a good guy. However there were two major issues: 1) it was advertised as it had a generator which was a big ticket item for us but it actually didn’t come with one. So imagine finding this out the night before your trip. 2) the license plate was expired 2 years (sticker was from 2024). Regardless of the reason, it’s just something a business needs to sort out. Unfortunately Outdoorsy refused to do anything about it (no partial refund or compensation) because we drove the RV anyway which turned out to be useless for us. Tough situation for both us and the owner. I’m only sharing because it’s important Allen fixes these issues so it doesn’t happen to anyone else. I believe Allen did his best to make things right with the limited options he had available which is why I’m giving 3 stars instead of 1.
