This was our first time trip in an RV. Joel is a great host was very responsive and helpful in walking us thru step by step on what was needing to be done to have a full on RV experience. Thank you for everything we will definitely be back!

Enjoyed a wonderful Easter weekend in Concan @ the Frio River. Joel was extremely flexible with pick up and drop off which made our trip even more enjoyable and relaxing. Trailer was a perfect fit for our family of four. Towed easily with my f-150.

This camper unfortunately needed maintenance at the time of our rental. Most critically, the water heater didn’t work. A fan and a couple lights didn’t work. The bedroom door didn’t close. The black tank sensor was faulty. The tow hitch supplied also needed work as the ball was dangerously loose. Joel was nice to provide a partial refund for the inconveniences.

When I went to pick up the travel trailer the owner was not there and did not leave/provide any walkthrough directions for it. Once I had set it up I had to call owner about the water connection because the only connection that was visible was not the water intake. Upon returning the owner changed the location of drop off twice then when we arrived to deliver he just stood and watched us unhook everything. When we let him know we had not swept the trailer out and asked for a broom to do so he proceeded to walk away and came back with an attitude and became a jerk to us. We handed over the keys and left. We would not recommend renting from him.

We enjoyed our trip using Mr. Madrid RV. Nice, clean, and everything worked well! We look forward to renting again in the future. He worked well with us as we didn't understand some of the Outdoorsy app features.

This was our first time camping with a trailer. Joel helped show us how to hook up the trailer and perform the initial set up. We pulled this trailer with a half ton pickup, and loved every minute.

Overall great experience; this was our first RV outing and Joel had everything ready, the RV far exceeded expectations. Highly recommend this vehicle to new RVers, everything included from the sway bar (definitely use) to the remote rear camera. We are now in the market to buy one. Thank you again Joel!

The RV is in very good condition. What I like the most was that Joel had all sorts of adapters, so I had no issues while I was hooking up at any RV park. Another thing I liked was that he has a stabilizer for the RV which drastically improves the towing experience. Highly recommend using Joel and this RV.

I had to reschedule pick up time multiple times and he was very understanding and worked around my schedule.
The Rv was very clean and comfortable to stay in. He was very thorough with explaining set up and the function of the Rv.
I will use Joel’s Rv again and recommend him to anyone!

Good Trailer with comfortable sleeping arrangements and easy to set up. Owner was helpful with instructions and assisting rookie mistakes. Overall wonderful family experience to Zion and Grand Canyon National Parks. No mileage limit is hugely helpful. Will use this one again in the future.

Drop off and pick up times were never made clear. Upon checking in with him to arrange pick-up he stated we reserved for 4PM. Who would realistically plan on picking up, packing and departing for a trip in the evening when paying for an entire day rental? He stated these times were set up by Outdoorsy staff. I contact Outdoorsy and I was informed that there was no set pick-up and drop off time, only a charge per night. He also expected return by 11 am. When my wife and I contacted him to let him know these times would really put us in a bind with pre-existing camp sight reservations, he replied "LOL. Go ahead and cancel then". With-in minutes he proceeded to cancel our reservation 36 hours before the date of pick up. We even offered to pay more for earlier pick up/ later drop off. We explained that we were taking our foster children on their first camping trip, but he was unwilling to work with us at all.
Bottom line- drop off and pick up times were never made clear. He was unwilling to work with us. He canceled our reservation within 36 hours of planned departure.
Unfortunately 0 stars are not an option.

RV was very clean and was ready to go when I picked it up. The layout was great for me and my two kids and, with the slide out, was roomy enough for them to play.

Boon docked for 7 days at the annual International Chili Cookoff competition in Terlingua (Big Bend area in south Texas), in which a generator was needed. One was provided, worked great and very quiet. All systems worked well with generator, propane, and battery power. Very clean, excellent bed, and very roomy. The added steps assembly made it real easy to go in and out of unit.
