What awning restrictions are there for Florida weather?

Spontaneous Florida weather. 1. If you know it's going to rain but want to leave the awning out while at the trailer, please keep the arm on one side bent enough to allow water to run off. Without this water will pool on the top and rip the awning. 2. If you plan to venture away from the trailer not within walking distance, please close the awning as high winds can damage the awning. 3. While at the trailer, please close the awning if winds are projected.

Is there any reason I should close the slide out during my rental?
A.
No, the trailer will be completely set up for your enjoyment upon delivery, this includes the slideout already open and the interior cooling awaiting your arrival. The slideout should remain open at all times and we will close it after your rental is complete upon pickup.
