As a MultiVan, "Marsha" is a bit like a village carrier. More room than the full campers and bit easier to deal with (the kitchen cabinets in the full cabinet are great, but - honestly - most people don't even use those features), Marsha is classic example of a mostly "stock" Vanagon. The back seat folds down to a full size bed and there is another full size bed un the pop up. The bunk bed top lifts effortlessly thanks to added Jack Bombay pop-top shocks. We suggest leaving one or both of rear bucket seats behind to make room for coolers and other gear. She drives great and is ready to transport 5 comfortably on a camping adventure. She has a Yakima rack that holds a 150w solar panel that charges an auxiliary battery under the drivers seat, allowing you to keep the radio and interior light running through the night (or anything that can plug into USB ports or a 12V cigarette lighter plug.... chargers, lights, fans, etc).***Must be able to drive a manual transmission to rent this vehicle!***Trips across the country will not be accepted. Please keep your destinations within a few hundred miles of Charlotte. If you don't have an Outdoorsy account yet, use https://www.outdoorsy.com/invite/jimd97 to sign up and get $50 off your first trip.

Rules and policies
Vanagons are not meant for driving long days on the interstate at high speeds. It's not about the destination, it's the journey... They live by the 60 & 2 theory. 60 mph with 2 windows down. It's best to keep your daily mileage under 200 miles, although the occasional day of 300+ miles is okay as long as you take a few rests for you and the van.
- Absolutely no smoking!
- Please do not climb on the roof.
- Please treat Marsha like the sweet pea that she is.
- Only approved drivers with manual transmission experience are allowed to captain Marsha. This is not a practice vehicle
