Its closer and located just above the lavender farm in Kula. Food nearby.West side past Maalaea is Lahaina and after the Pali trail anywhere along the highway is available for camping as long as you have a permit or fishing pole in the water. Olowalu has camping paid camping spots and is near.Twin falls is on the North shore just past Haiku. Easy hike and waterfalls. Hookipa is before that and is famous for surfing and turtles.South side has upscale shopping centers in Wailea and past that is Big beach and La Perouse bay for snorkeling or a hike through the lava fields.Other things to noteVehicle has 4wd but not usually needed. Please no unnecessary off roading.
