You can camp on the east side and enjoy the ocean front sunrise view at Kumu Camp one day, explore the north shore and stay at Camp Naue the next, and enjoy the lush green mountains and spectacular view of Kokee State park another day.Excellent budget friendly way to explore the entire island of Kauai. Maximize your time by camping on the side of the island you're exploring each day.Self check in with lock box. Located 20 minutes from airport. Uber/Lyft or we are a short walk from bus stop . Must be 25 or older to rent.Proof of license required. (in addition to the photos sent for the Driver's Verification/Insurance, which is done by "Outdoorsy", we also require a second set of close-up photos of all driver's licenses, and a selfie of each driver holding their license, 48 hrs prior to reservation. These can be emailed to us "Kauai Holoholo Campers".)Rental comes with the 90 second Gazelle T3 tent, full size air mattress, 2 camp pillows, 2 lightweight sleeping bags, camp kitchen, cooler and 2 chairs. Our experience with Kauai Holoholo Campers was great.
They were very responsive and helpful.
The car is brand new, clean and convenient.
They provide everything you need for a great camping trip on Kauai.
I would just recommend adding a manual pump for the mattress if the car is park too far from the tent.

Everything was great! Pick up was really easy and quick. The communication with Kauai Holoholo campers was also very easy to follow.

First time on the island and using Outdoorsy, and the experience was great. The host was very friendly and helpful to navigate the island through recommendations of hostels and campsites on the island.

We had the chance to explore Kauai with this nice Kia Soul. The car was so clean and in such a great shape that we thought that we were the first ones to use it. The camping equipment was as good as new as well, the matress didn’t lose any pressure and the tent was vert easy to set up. We were able to sleep comfortably and cook for ourselves every night without any problem. Communications with Tom were very easy and casual, he even came to our rescue when we locked ourselves out of the car. We didn’t hold back from exploring the entire island and it didn’t hurt our budget since the car doesn’t need much gas. I do not hesitate to recommend Tom’s ride ! Mahalo Tom 🌈
