Review summary
Highly Responsive & Problem-Solving
Jake is praised for prompt communication, answering questions, and resolving issues (e.g., leaks, missing items), sometimes offering prorated rates. Some guests requested in-person orientation or better manual provision.
Drives Reliably Across Terrains
The van drives smoothly and reliably on various roads (mountain, forest) with good gas mileage. It offers standing room for 6' guests, a comfortable bed, fans, heating, electricity, and a well-equipped kitchen. Issues included cleanliness, missing essentials, difficult bed conversion, and unsecured cooler.

My name is Yacoob (Jake)! I started out as a passionate outdoor enthusiast, with a heart that beats for the thrill of hiking, snowboarding, and everything nature has to offer. Fueled by this insatiable love for the outdoors, I embarked on a journey that would soon become a passion!
It all began with a humble dream – crafting vans that perfectly melded with the rugged landscapes I adored. Building these vans for personal adventures, using sustainable materials, my creations caught the attention of fellow nature aficionados. Enthusiasm grew, as admiration turned into demand. Seeing the genuine appreciation for my work, I took a leap of faith and transformed a personal endeavor into a mission to share the beauty of the outdoors with the world.
With unwavering commitment and a heartwarming desire to make outdoor exploration accessible to all, I now have took personal time to pour my heart and soul into crafting affordable vans that mirror the very essence of nature's splendor. Every build tells a story, a tale of passion, sustainability, and the unbreakable bond between humans and the great outdoors.
I created Overland Camper Vans and soon joined the Outdoorsy community in an adventure that transcends boundaries, guided by a vision to inspire, empower, and embrace the call of the wild. Your journey awaits, as you step into a world where passion and purpose come together to create the ultimate outdoor experience.
