We're a family of six and love the outdoors. We also love being comfortable and believe the journey is just as important as the destination. Our RV provides both. We could own a trailer, but chose the RV because we still like to take naps as we travel and love not having to pull over to make a sandwich, use the bathroom or cook popcorn. This RV is approximately 32 feet in length with a Ford V10 engine, comes with automatic Jack leveling and a backup camera which makes driving and setting up fun and easy. It sleeps 8 adults and two children at maximum capacity and has 2 slides. Ford 450 chassis, 4KW Onan generator, power mirrors with heat, power windows, and locks, pass-thru storage, power patio awning, slide-out room toppers, exterior shower, 7.5K lb. hitch, back up camera, exterior entertainment center, 7-foot ceilings, all in 1 bath, 3 burner range with gas oven, cab-over bunk, ducted roof A/C with heat pump and 4 TVs (one outside).See this youtube video of the same model...Note: This is not our video, but reflects what the inside looks like. https://youtu.be/C9nplro3Oao (cut and paste in new browser)Additional features include: Custom Paint ($8,000 upgrade....no fading stickers on this rig), Bigfoot automatic level system; exterior shower, leather sofa with sleeper, booth converts to sleeper, microwave, refrigerator, Serta mattress, glass door shower and much more.Sorry, we do not allow travel outside the U.S. (I.E. Canada and Mexico)Contact us for any questionsWhat's includedDue to recent conditions, we have removed nearly everything from the RV to keep it safe for all. Please bring sheets, towels, blankets, pillows, plates, silver ware, etc. We do have a few pots and pans. Sorry.Other things to noteWe (like many of the other owners on rental sites) only allow up to 100 miles a day and generally prefer local rentals. Each additional mile is $1.00. We believe this is important to tell you upfront so you can plan accordingly. We also don't allow Boondocking where electricity is not available. Please provide the location where you will have a 30amp hook up. Believe us, trying to boondock will cause many problems for you and your family in any rented RV or trailer. Problems with the toilet, air conditioning and battery drainage to the point you would be responsible for damages. Having over night electricity is key.

Highly Responsive & Supportive Host

Doug frequently offers thorough explanations and proactive troubleshooting, driving long distances to resolve issues. However, some renters experienced unexpected cancellations and substantial post-trip fees.

Performs Capably on the Road

The RV performs capably, handling well even in high winds. It provides comfortable, ample sleeping for large families. Minor issues included an occasional bathroom odor and AC limitations in extreme heat.

This was our first RV rental experience, and Doug made it an outstanding one from start to finish. His communication was excellent, the listing was completely accurate, and he was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. We rented the RV for four days and three nights over the Fourth of July weekend for a family trip to Williamsburg. This had been on my bucket list for years, and it ended up creating some of our favorite family memories. We have six kids, and I told them we were going to a "unique Airbnb." Instead, I surprised them by driving the RV into our driveway to load up. I'll never forget the looks on their faces when they realized we were taking an RV—they were absolutely thrilled! Even with all eight of us, the RV was surprisingly comfortable. There were plenty of sleeping arrangements for everyone. The queen bed over the cab was much larger than I expected, and our 16-year-old loved having his own space up there (sometimes with two or three siblings joining him to watch a movie). The bunk beds were perfect for our 13- and 11-year-olds, the dinette and couch converted into comfortable beds for our younger three, and my wife and I still had the private master bedroom. One helpful tip for families: if you plan to use the upper bunk, consider bringing a bunk rail or bed guard for younger kids. Doug actually mentioned this ahead of time, and I happened to have one in the garage. It worked perfectly and gave us extra peace of mind. We did have one minor issue with the refrigerator battery beeping because it wasn't staying charged. Doug was fantastic about helping us troubleshoot it over the holiday weekend and quickly figured out the cause. The refrigerator stayed cold even when powered off for short periods, so it really wasn't an inconvenience, and Doug has already identified the fix so future renters shouldn't run into the same issue. Like any RV, it has a few fun little personality quirks, which honestly is just part of the RV experience. The TVs and DVD player took a little figuring out, but our kids actually enjoyed that—and honestly, you don't rent an RV to spend the weekend watching TV anyway! We also rented during an exceptionally hot Fourth of July weekend. As with any RV, the air conditioner can only do so much in extreme heat, but it kept the inside more comfortable and much less humid than being outside. During the evenings and overnight it actually got chilly a couple of times. During the hottest part of the afternoon, we simply took the opportunity to explore Williamsburg's incredible history, which worked out perfectly. During spring, fall, or even more typical summer weather, I imagine this RV would be comfortable all day long. Doug was fair, honest, responsive, and genuinely great to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to rent from him again, and I highly recommend this RV to anyone looking to make unforgettable family memories.

Overall, great first experience renting an RV. First thing we learned...there's a lot to learn! A solid effort was made to communicate everything we needed to know, but hard to retain everything. When we first picked up, we were told that we needed to make a stop at an RV store to purchase a new cord that the previous renters fried. Not ideal, but WAY better than having the reservation cancelled. We were reimbursed for the expense and only had a minor inconvenience with the pit stop. When the new cord didn't fix the issue totally, Doug drove over an hour to where we were camping to make sure that the issue was rectified. Everything from then on worked great. Had one snag dumping the waste (apparently didn't do it correctly. Seemed easy, but needed more than YouTube to get it right!). So, even though we wound up having to pay the fee for Doug to take care of the issue, he gave us a slight discount on that charge since we were inconvenienced by the stop. All in all, we would rent an RV again, and def consider renting again from Doug.

This was our first time in an RV and it was a good time. Doug and family were really helpful and provide us with useful information to have a good time. The only thing we didn’t really enjoy was the smell from the bathroom especially when is moving. I don’t know if it’s every RV and that’s how it is but other than that it was a good trip.
