Big Blue is a Ford Transit 350HD, all wheel drive, extended length, high roof model. It is designed by an architect and constructed by us to the highest standards. Finished in curved birch plywood for an elegant, custom, high end feel that is the antithesis of a lot of factory build campervans. It features an in-board 22 gal water system with a kitchen sink and 3 stage water filtration. House power is delivered through a 4000wh bluetti power system that powers lighting, pumps, a refrigerated cooler, a roof fan, and two AC outlets in the kitchen. the house battery is charged by the vehicle alternator or 120 AC. The permanently set up bed is a medium firm queen size box spring with memory foam. Luxurious bedding is provided including organic Egyptian cotton sheets, and organic linen duvets. Pillows are hypoallergenic. Two facing cushioned bench seats have a pull-out dinning/game table between them. A slide-out storage sled allows you to load and unload the van without crawling around under the bed platform. Curtains provide privacy when you want them, and store away when you want to see the view. What's included• Fellow electric kettle and french press

Whether its catching a show at Mass MOCA or the Shelburne Museum, Hiking in to the White Mountains, or a weekend on Block Island: We've been there and done that. Part of any good adventure is excellent food and we have plenty of it around here. Longer journeys are available too, no limits, except Burning Man. I had a wonderful time in Big Blue with my puppy, Betty! Bryan was incredibly helpful and did an excellent job explaining the features of the van. I am currently looking for a retirement vehicle, and my experience with the Ford Transit was fantastic. Thank you, Bryan, for sharing your well-crafted, well-equipped, and fun van!

Big Blue was perfect for me. The interior is well thought out and beautifully crafted, impeccably clean and very comfortable. The lights, water system, fan, and electric cooler were very convenient, and managing the power was easy with the app. The bed was extremely comfortable! And it was really easy to drive, even for someone who is used to a small car. Bryan was very responsive and helpful when I had questions.

Rules and policies
• While Big Blue is easy to drive, it is important to plan your arrival and exits from small areas. Try to park away from other vehicles or in a less used zone. Think before going in, and if in doubt pull over, get out and have a look around. In addition, this is a heavy vehicle that should accelerate slowly, and brake slowly... leave plenty of room between you and vehicles around you. When descending steep hills, use the manual setting "M" and use the thumb shifter button to have the engine help with braking. The vehicle is 10 feet tall so make sure you have that clearance! Festivals are fine, but no Burning Man as the Playa can cause irreversible harm to vehicles.

Quest Campervan was born out of a love for travel, nature, and adventuring of all sorts. Our family is very active and enjoys hiking, fishing, skiing, kayaking, rock climbing, camping...you name it! A 10 day campervan trip in the Pacific Northwest sold us on the idea of campervan touring. Big Blue, our first van, is the embodiment of that first experience, and all we learned from our time on the road. Time moves on fast, don't wait to have that adventure! We would love to host your trip in this handcrafted, architect designed, glamping machine.
