Sleeps 4

One of the lightest enclosed travel trailers available (under 2700lbs), our carefully maintained and clean 2015 StarCraft 15RB is a hybrid travel trailer with 2 beds and all the amenities you need. It comfortably sleeps 4 with the full-size bed in the front (convertible dinette) and a queen bed in the rear fold-down tent bed. Our trailer is stocked with the essentials and ready for your trip. It requires a 2" ball and receiver (included) and a standard 7-pin round plug (which powers trailer brakes and charges battery). Our trailer has the basics plus extra comfort amenities including propane furnace with thermostat control, air-conditioning (AC unit, if trailer is plugged in), microwave, toilet, water heater, hot shower with tub, two-way refrigerator with freezer, 12v USB charging outlets, fans, dimmable LED lights, CD/radio with speakers, and a quick-and-easy electric awning. The trailer has good clearance and is very easy to tow with reliable, oversized Hankook 8-ply tires including spare (Fall 2024).Weighing 2,678lbs with 225-lb hitch weight, this trailer can be towed by most vehicles - it is lighter than most travel trailers even at the maximum 3,200lbs Gvwr. The rear bed folds down (like a pop-up tent trailer bed) and is quick and easy to fold up and down. Added bonus, using the rear fold out bed is totally optional and does not interfere with using the trailer with it closed / stowed away for 1- or 2-person setup, quick overnights, or inclement weather. Either way - with the rear bed open or closed -the trailer heater with thermostat and AC (if plugged in) keep the climate comfortable inside. Two batteries and two full propane tanks are included, capable of longer, multi-day dry-camping trips.Pet-friendly! If you are bringing dog(s) please add the mandatory $30 pet cleaning add-on when you book.Water for your trip: Let us know before your pick-up if you want the 32-gallon freshwater tank full, half-full (approx.) or empty. If there is water at your destination, either a full water hook-up at your site or available to fill up the tank, we recommend leaving the water tank empty to lower towing weight. The trailer has a water hose in the front compartment.Additional details: The trailer has two propane tanks and two batteries capable of 7-10 days of dry camping or longer. The batteries power LED lights, awning, water pump, stove fan, television, CD /stereo, and a multi-plug 12v USB outlet. The fridge can run on propane or plugged-in power (not on batteries only). On battery power only, please note there is no AC, electric refrigerator, or microwave - you need an electric hookup (or a generator, not included) to run those appliances. The trailer has a 2" hitch receiver on the rear bumper for bringing a bike rack or using a flat cargo hitch carrier for lightweight items only, such as a generator, gas can, small cooler, or bin(s) of camp gear. (It is important to not overload the rear with too much weight, if a hitch carrier is used - it is not intended to overload with heavy coolers, wood, or motorcycles). The trailer can sleep up to 5 with space for kids or small-adults to sleep on the bench seat pad across from the kitchenette area. If needed, there is a Regalo Swing Down Crib Rail /safety net to use on the bench seat to help prevent kids rolling off the seat. We use it for our 2-3year old, it is under the same bench seat -works great. What's included• Two (2) full propane tanks, leveling blocks, water hose, 32-gallons of freshwater in the tank (if requested prior to pick-up), lighters, garbage bags, and miscellaneous supplies - if it's in the trailer, it's yours to use!
• Kitchen supplies: Plates, bowls, cups, mugs, knives, paper towels, ziploc-bags, silverware and plastic-utensils, frying pan, pot with lid, French press (coffee), spatula, hand and dish soap, sponges, etc.
• Camp supplies: LED lantern, lighters, first-aid kit, hammock, bath / beach towels, throw pillows, extra blankets, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, conditioner, face wipes and miscellaneous games.
• 12v USB charging outlet with 12v fan
• 12V TV with Roku- can play DVDs using built-in CD/DVD player (TV is not mounted. It is stowed away under the bench seat)
Recommendations• McCall and Cascade Lake
• Sun Valley and north- Ketchum, Hailey, and Stanley
• La Grande or Baker City, Oregon
• Wallowa Lake / Enterprise, Oregon
• Snake River corridor campgrounds - swimming, fishing, wine tasting, and hot springs
Other things to noteNo smoking. Use sheets or blankets to cover trailer pads and mattresses and protect from dogs and dirt. No smoking, candles, or fires inside the camper please! Please do not cook bacon or fish inside the camper - it gets grease and odor on the canvas and fabric that never really comes out and impacts us and future campers. An additional cleaning charge will apply if bacon or fish are cooked inside, if the camper smells like there was smoking, or for excessive or unplanned pet cleaning.

Makary is the kind of host that makes you want to book again before you've even unhitched the trailer. From the very first message, he was responsive, friendly, and made the whole process feel effortless. No confusion, no waiting just clear communication every step of the way. The trailer itself was spotless. Seriously, cleaner than some hotel rooms I've stayed in. Everything was in perfect working order, well-stocked, and exactly as advertised. It's obvious Makary takes real pride in his rig. We took it out to Victor, Idaho and had an absolute blast. The setup made the trip we weren't worrying about the trailer for a single second, which meant we could just focus on enjoying the mountains. If you're on the fence about renting from Makary, get off it. Five stars without hesitation. We will 100% be back.

Trailer was in perfect condition, we had no issues and used all utilities. AC works very well and I was able to run it on a single generator. Heater and hot water heater work well too. Trailer has 2 batteries and 2 gas bottles which is awesome. The rental, pickup and drop off process was very easy and the renter was very accessible and accommodating.

Frequently asked questions

Q.

How long do the batteries last at a camp without electric hookup?

A.

Our camper has 2 newer batteries that stay energized for a week or more, and can last several weeks depending on useage. Battery power supports the interior and exterior lights, awning, water pump, furnace blower, USB 12v outlet, stereo and oven fan.

Q.

Is a generator included? Or an option?

A.

Unfortunately no, we do not have a generator, and we do not have one to offer as an option at this time. Maybe we will add in the future! If you have your own generator to bring, you would be able to run the AC and microwave without needing a camp spot with electrical hookups.

Q.

Can I run the AC on battery power?

A.

The air conditioning unit, electric refrigerator, and microwave require the trailer to be plugged in for use, they do not run on battery power alone (which is typical for all camp trailers and AC).

Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

We are very flexible on pickup and dropoff times! We understand there are a lot of planning logistics on a trip and we want to help make your trip as easy as possible. Pickup times starting at 6am and late drop off after the listed time is no problem, typically. We just ask that you communicate if you want an earlier pickup time and if you think you may be later on drop off, please let us know before you are out of town and out of service.

We live in Boise, Idaho, and try to spend as many days and nights outdoors with our toddler as we can. We don't always use our travel trailer, though, so we are sharing for others to use it too.
