"Pirate" is the perfect home on wheels. He has all of the amenities to make you feel right at home and in luxury while out in the woods! He's decked out with a table and benches that convert to a queen-size bed, fridge and freezer, sink, propane stove, carbon monoxide detector, ventilation, heater, and a shower. What he lacks in large-item storage he makes up for in comfort!Pirate is equipped with a water heater, magnetized cabinet doors that stay closed while driving, a stovetop inside the van, a huge table for games or cooking, a counter extension for extra space while cooking, a bug screen so you can leave the doors open without pests getting in, and tons of cabinets for storing clothes, pantry items, or gear! He would definitely be best enjoyed on an extended road trip where you really have time to enjoy all the comfort that Pirate has to offer in the great outdoors! What's includedPirate comes equipped with a clean sheet set, towels, cookware, utensils, plates, bowls, cups (2 of each), cutting board, spices, dish soap/silicone scrubby, camp soap, a full 5 gal propane tank, and a full water tank. Let us know if you're bringing a furry friend and we'll include a dog water bowl and some treats! Pirate also has an outdoor hose attachment--perfect for hosing off muddy shoes, feet, or paws after a great adventure!RecommendationsHead out to Deschutes National Forest and explore some of the amazing (and accessible for non-4wd) forest roads. There are many beautiful camp spots hidden in the forest. We love camping in a quiet spot in the first near Sisters or Sunriver, then heading in to town to grab some food or walk around the cute towns. Or head up to Bachelor for skiing and hiking trails! Central Oregon has so much to offer. Other things to notePets welcome! Just please try to keep muddy paws off the cushions and seats.
The table attachment can be a bit heavy--take care when attaching and dissembling!
Please be mindful of the battery health! It usually isn't an issue in sunny Central Oregon, but we appreciate you looking out!
No smoking of any kind in the van please.
No festivals please.

Hi! I lived in Pirate full time when I first moved to Central Oregon and my dog and I had a blast hiding away in the forest on the regular! Our favorite time in Pirate was driving to Montana and getting up super early to drive the sunrise on the Going-to-the-Sun road in Glacier. Let me know if you want any camping or food recommendations in and around Bend!
