This is a customized 2021 Winnebago Solis 59PX Class B motorhome/RV/camper van. Remember the iconic VW pop-top camper van? Yeah you do! Well, this Solis is a pop-top camper van on steroids!Featuring the classic pop-top, this is the only Class B RV on the road that sleeps 4 comfortably - 2 up top and 2 down below. Both sleeping areas are roughly queen-sized beds - the top measures 52" x 79" and the bottom murphy bed measures 59" x 77" and folds up out of the way when not in use.Roomy, but maneuverable. Built on a Ram ProMaster 3500 chassis, this Solis is only 21-feet long and 11-feet tall. With the color rear/back-up camera and 5" LCD color touch screen, you'll have no problem backing into tight, secluded spots with confidence. This camper van has coach air conditioning powered via shore power or a super quiet generator for off-the-grid camping. If it's heat you need, you'll stay toasty with the Truma Combi furnace and water heater. And stay off-grid longer with a 220-watt flexible solar panel on the roof. This van is jam-packed with all the essentials, tons of amenities, and high-end modifications and upgrades. Wherever your journey takes you, you'll have A/C and heat, running hot water, mini fridge w/ freezer, 2-burner gas stove, kitchen sink, toilet, shower, dining table w/ seating for 4 , SiriusXM satellite radio w/ navigation, and a rear trailer hitch wired for towing. There are power outlets, 12-volt powerpoints, and USB ports throughout the camper van for all your devices. If you want off the beaten path, this van is ready for the journey. The solar panel, generator, and fresh water tank will allow you to stay off-grid for days on end. And for the road less traveled , this van has been upgraded with a 1.5" lift; BFG KO2 all-terrain tires; Black Rhino Havasu wheels; a full-size, rear-mounted spare tire; Koni FSD struts and shocks; SumoSprings front and rear; front and rear hitches; a rear ladder with RotoPax mount; and a grille guard. What's includedThe van comes loaded with fresh water, propane, a fully-charged coach battery, and a full tank of gas. The van is also equipped with all the cords, hoses, fittings, and adapters that you'll need to get power and water and dump your liquid waste at the campground. Also included with the rental at no additional cost are: toolbox with essential tools, toilet paper and deodorizer tablets, cleaning supplies, and small hand broom, hand duster, and dust pan. RecommendationsWe love Texas State Parks! Other things to note A few things to note:
- Insurance and Outdoorsy fees are additional costs that are not included in the daily rate. To get a total cost, you can proceed through the checkout process or request a quote.
- 100 miles/day are included in the rental. Additional miles are charged at $0.50/mile.
- The van comes with a full fuel tank and empty waste tanks (gray water and toilet). If you return the van the same way, there are no additional fees/costs other than for excess miles and any damage. Otherwise, it's $5.00/gallon for fuel and $50 to dump the tanks. I'll show you how to dump the tanks during the departure orientation/walkthrough.
- Pickup is at 3:00 PM (or later) and drop-off is at 11:00 AM (or earlier). Drop-off later than 11:00 AM will incur a fee of $15/hr. if it will impact bookings occurring the same day. Alternative pickup and drop-off times may be arranged via text/messaging app prior to departure.

We are a family of four, plus one beloved dog and traveling companion. We enjoy the outdoors -- camping, biking, hiking, kayaking, RV'ing, boating, and attending music festivals. We love being on the water and in the snow, traveling to new places from the coasts to the mountains. Our favorite trips include exploring the Texas Hill Country, northern New Mexico, Colorado, and the National Parks.

Bryan is a great host to work with. Communication was easy and crisp. Pick-up and drop-off were a breeze. Bryan gives a very thorough walk-through of the van so that you are ready to work each of its systems on your adventures. The Solis is reasonably spacious (for a camper van), easy to live in, and easy to drive. Bryan has done a great job of maintaining the vehicle.

A nice, clean and well maintained Solis --- the model we typically rent --- with some cool mods and improvements. Bryan is a helpful owner and certainly willing to work with you if you have questions. Recommended.

Bryan was very helpful in explaining everything about the vehicle and flexible on timing which helped us accomodate our flights. Vehicle was exactly what we needed for four adults, nice strong AC, good size mini fridge, awesome outdoor shower set up. It was also easy to drive for a person with limited camper van experience.

Bryan was very helpful in explaining how to use the RV. He was at our meeting place for pick up and drop off exactly on time. The RV was comfortable and a joy to have in most places we went.
Only thing which was a disappointment was the missing generator. I understand things happen with vehicles from time to time. He did explain he had hoped to have it fixed by the time we started our trip. It wasn't when we picked it up. We had to adjust our stops while on the trip. Since it was so hot, we had to get motel rooms, in places that were too hot to sleep in the RV. The extra cost made it less fun than we hoped for. I would recommend not renting a unit that was not completely as should be.
We still got to go and have a great time.. just wish we had the complete package.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Please contact owner regarding pick-up and drop-off times. If I do not have a renter dropping off on the day you are picking up, or picking up on the day you are dropping off, I can typically be fairly flexible with departures and returns. Happy to work with your schedule as best I can.

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
The RV takes 30-amp power, which is available at most campgrounds that offer electrical hookups. If only 50-amp is offered at the campground, the RV rental includes a converter that will allow you to connect to a 50-amp outlet. The gray water tank can be connected to the campground's sewer/septic. The water panel is in the rear of the RV, in the interior, for refilling the water tank as necessary at a campground that offers a water hookup. There is a removable cassette toilet.
