Our toyhauler travel trailer has solar power and big tanks so you can camp anywhere with or without hookups. Go to those remote places and still enjoy the comforts of home. Put the rear ramp down and load up your ATV or motorcycles or golf cart or whatever. Once you unload, you have a nice big living room! With the rear ramp down you also have a large screened window, we love to back up to lakes or streams and camp.Works great as a travel trailer too, with the big open living room and the huge back window. Good for RV parks with hookups and even better for camping in remote locations.Front queen bed plus rear benches and table folds down into a second queen bed. Small but complete bathroom and complete kitchen with microwave and fridge.Rental includes top of the line sway control load equalizing hitch. We'll help you hook it up. You need a 2" hitch receiver on your vehicle and an electric trailer brake controller. Depending on where and when, for an added fee we may be able to drop off and pick up the unit from your campsite. Let's talk! RV has no generator but unlimited solar power is free. First tank of propane is free.Notice there are big discounts for weekly or monthly rentals. If you're planning a long trip let's talk!Other things to noteSolar power can run everything except the microwave and air conditioner. If you need air conditioning you will need to plug into shore power or bring a good sized generator, probably 2000 watts or more.

Frequently asked questions

Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

Depends on the date, often we can be flexible if there isn't another renter the day before or the day after you. Just ask.

Q.

What fits in the toyhauler?

A.

The rear door opening is 72" wide and about 72" high. Some big side-by-sides and some golf carts with roofs on are too tall. It can carry 2 or 3 motorcycles easily, more if they are small and light. There are built in chock mounts and tiedown points for bikes. Most ATV's and golf carts fit fine. Kayaks, canoes, windsurfers, all kinds of stuff are no problem. There is a floorplan with dimensions in the photos, so you can measure and see. Of course I am happy to answer questions.

Q.

What runs on the solar power?

A.

The fridge, water heater, water pump, furnace, interior lights all run on solar power or solar power and propane. The outlets in the camper run on solar power, it is strong enough to charge phones and laptops, run a fan, etc. But it's not strong enough for an electric coffeepot. Use the stove instead :-)

Q.

What about the air conditioning?

A.

The air conditioning and the microwave will NOT run on solar power. For those you need to be plugged into the post at a campground or have a large enough generator. We supply adapter plugs for the common campground outlets and generator outlets.

We're not a business, we're just a family with a toyhauler that we can rent out. We've done some customizing on the camper for dry camping or "boondocking" in remote locations, we love it.
