1Unfortunately, there were a number of things wrong about this rental that really made our trip difficult. One of the rear axles was bent upon pickup causing the tire to sit at a weird angle. The previous renter also noted this on their review as well about the tire getting hot. That tire ended up blowing out while we were driving. The trailer had no tools for a repair, but luckily I brought my own tools and jack with me. The owners wife and son both acknowledged the problem with the axle, but the cost of the tire was then charged as a claim against our deposit anyway. Roadside assistance is not really an option when traveling through Alaska where cell signal is bad and cities are hours away. In the end, we ended up paying for the existing damage and unsafe condition of the trailer. The power outlets only work with shore power and hot water only works with city water, neither of which are explained. We camped without hookups and had no way to charge our phones, make coffee or take showers for 8 days. Trailer was advertised as having an outdoor kitchen but we couldn't use it because the propane hose was missing. Sink was dirty with food inside when we picked it up. Black tank read full the entire trip no matter how many times we drained, so there was no way to know how full it really was. Stairs are flimsy and dangerous. Outdoor led lighting doesn't work. Owner did not do any pre or post rental inspection with us. I will give credit to the owner for his flexibility and generosity with pickup and drop-off times as that was really helpful. The main reason this review is getting 1 star is because it is just unbelievable that a renter would be charged $91 for a tire replacement when it only blew because of existing damage, poor maintenance and unsafe conditions, and then to be told we have to use our own tools while sitting stranded on the side of the road. Not everyone is going to be lucky enough to bring their own tools along just incase. Ultimately, this trailer is not anything like advertised and is just unsafe.

2The inside outlets did not work, the starboard rear wheel was hot upon dropoff. Nobody available for acceptance or dropoff. Owner and renter disagree on hitch part that was supposivley missing. breaker blew on verticle trailer hitch, the location of spare fuses was not communicated prior causing the inabilty to detach from tow vehicle. The owner demands entire new hitch because 1 weight distribution bar is missing or lost. insist owner participation in pickup and dropoff. trailer otherwise was clean.
