Hello, We are Nathan and Emily! After being on the road months on end for Emilys Music tours we decided we need something more accommodating than a simple van. So I went to work to decking out a van ending up with a fully self sustaining home. we loved life on the road so much, we accidentally traveled in it for 6 months. Because of family we settled in Vancouver, Wa and have been taking 3 months here and there to travel and tour. Whether you choose to enjoy our Promaster or other travel pods, we hope you enjoy the road as much as we do. If you want to go listen to Emilys music, just look her up @emilybrimlow Enjoy!

We had to cancel last minute due to a family emergency. Nathan, never responded to our messages. We were hoping to postpone our trip to another day... Would not recommend due to the lack of communication that began even before the cancellation (see message below asking for early check-in). We then went to outdoorsy multiple times. They finally got ahold of Nathan and he wasn't willing to refund or reschedule the trip.

We absolutely LOVED van life!! We had been thinking about venturing in to van life and this was the PERFECT way to dip our toes in it! Nathan was very prompt with his responses and helpful when we needed more information. A instruction "manual" for the van would have been really helpful, but at the end of the day we enjoyed the adventure aspect of everything. Don't hesitate to ask questions early for things you think you might need to know and double confirm any details that might be unique to your stay. This was an absolutely perfect way to travel around SoCal and not worry about traffic or struggling to get back to your hotel. I wish we had done a little more research on our end about where to stay/park/etc as we opted to drive the van around, but now we know for next time!! Thank you to Nathan for being so accommodating and helpful when we needed it. Pretty sure we will have a van of our own in the near future!

The van was perfect and Nathan & Emily were amazing hosts! They were flexible with pick-up and drop-off and very responsive to all of our questions. It drove perfect, the inside was nicely decorated and clean, and we had a great time :)

Nathan was very kind. I imagine Emily and he could be fun to travel with themselves.
I had to book this trip quickly and could have asked more questions
- the listing said that the van slept three people.
I am 5ft 4in 120 lb. My daughter is 5ft 1in 105 lb... it was a tight squeeze for us. I can't imagine what three people could have slept in there easily.
- the listing also said that the van was equipped with a charging box, a camp stove, and a porta potty.
None of those things were in the van, except for a distinct urine smell that never left, which i imagine was left over from the porta potty that had *once* been in there.
** Nathan did offer to reimburse me to repurchase these things to put in the van.**
- the back tires were bald when I got the vehicle. I was afraid to travel with the van that way, and replaced the back tires.
**Nathan DID reimburse me for these quickly**
- Under halfway through the trip the van started rapidly leaking coolant, (although there was documents of a recent tune-up and the light in the van *never went on* to indicate this was a problem)
- the radiator was fully cracked. **WE WERE VERY LUCKY that it didn't overheat and crack the engine while we were on an anticipated desert road**
-It wasn't until i had paid for the only available hotel near the only available mechanic. (we could not sleep in this sleeper van at the auto shop) and transport to the hotel that i heard from Nathan, the owner.
- He told me to "keep the receipts" from the repair of his vehicle so that he could reimburse me. I quickly explained to him that I had no money in *my* budget to repair *his* car.
*He then took care of it with the mechanic.*
-My understanding from the mechanic was that he was resistant to do all the repairs needed to keep us safe for the rest of the trip. This was very unfortunate to hear.
*In the end all necessary repairs were made and paid for*
-I have still not been reimbursed from the owner for any of the hotel, transportation to and from the hotel, and the coolant I bought for the van- all as a result of the breakdown (As well, we obviously lost a night of our camping accommodations, that could not be refunded, as a result of the breakdown.)

There were miscommunication where Emily thought the water tank’s full but it was actually empty. We survived Joshua Tree with the drinking water we brought with us, which was fine. Make sure you check water and gas before you go into any park, I didn’t check water before I entered the park so part of it was also on me. Other than that everything was great. The front light and the backup mirror were broken, but Nathan let us know before the trip and will probably have them fixed before next guest. Overall a great trip for us. Nathan responded to our questions quickly during our trip and also apologized after we told him the tank wasn’t filled. Very nice people to rent from.

The Magic Cabin was awesome! It was easy to drive and it was very clean and cozy. Nathan was great to work with and responded to all of our questions quickly. Definitely recommend!

We had a bunch of weather issues on our trip but Nathaniel responded immediately with any answers or accommodations for us to make our trip so much better. Van was spacious clean and had our basic needs taken care of.

My friend and I rented Nathan’s van for a two week road trip. We started in Portland and ended in San Diego. Nathan was very accommodating with the one way request and was available throughout the trip when we had questions/needed him! His campervan is very cozy, clean and comfortable! It came with everything you’d need to cook breakfast, lunch, dinner, make coffee, etc. I’d definitely rent Nathan’s van again!
