About Rob's RV rentals

Maine Adventure Company is a family business, founded by the father/son team of Trevar and David Haefele. This company started on the foundation of creating greater access to nature, educating on ways to conserve our environment, and practice and inspire sustainability. Our Vans provide access to all parts of wild Maine, sharing the adventurous experience while providing comfort and security. We collaborated with local manufacturers and developed unique van builds that help create a premier experience. We are the first company in Maine to use such a highly specialized off-road, solar based off-grid build in these Class B Camper Vans. We want to share our Maine Experiences with you while we give back to our community, and our land. Maine and its pure beauty can be life-changing and has been for those that represent Maine Adventure Company. We want to help you find your adventure.

Everything was perfect from handoff to drop off. Our battery had died mid trip and Rob was able to coordinate someone to show up and take care of it for us in 15 minutes. Highly recommend!

Rob was great to work with, informative but also laid back and very easy to talk with. We had so much fun with the van! It was easy to navigate and, once we found our system for transitioning from driving mode to camping mode, an extremely cozy and well-stocked place to stay. Highly recommended, we will be back!

Everything was great from the initial meeting when getting the van, to being able to leave it at the Portland Jetport the day that we left for home. Rob answered any question we sent over via text, and the van was a good home for the week. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Rob was an amazing host and the Allagash van was a blast. I felt so safe on the road, especially with Rob's thorough walkthrough before I head out on my trip. The van was clean, stocked and easy to use. As a first time RVer, I felt confident on the road and safe traveling with just myself and my dog. Would recommend this van highly and would definitely rent again!

Communication with Rob prior to our rental was outstanding. The van rode beautifully and was equipped with everything we needed. All systems ran smoothly. My only comment would be the van has been enjoyed quite a bit since the photos in the listing were taken, so understand it has some overall wear that doesn’t show. We had an amazing trip with Katahdin!

We loved traveling in the campervan and bringing our dog along on vacation. Rob was always available for questions and concerns. It was a great experience, and we highly recommend Maine Adventure to anyone who is tired of sleeping in a tent and wants the convenience of a tiny home on wheels.

Our trip was fantastic and Rob was amazing to work with! This was our first time using a camper van. Rob made sure we had everything, understood how the van functioned, and was accessible anytime we had questions. I'd refer the Kineo to anyone who wants an adventure + worry free experience.

Rob was an excellent host; we would absolutely rent with him again. He was very communicative and did everything to make sure our van experience was top-notch. Even as first-time camper van users, we felt really comfortable throughout the whole trip, much due to Rob's efforts. Thank you!

Great setup, great communication and transparency from the host. Traveled with our 3 yo and had a wonderful time. Plenty of battery/charging methods to make sure there is ample power, super simple systems, all the things we needed for vglambing.

We had a perfect trip with our Allagash RV set up. The beds were firm and the layout is well-thought out. We had everything we needed for a trip with two grandchildren. Leading up to the trip, Ron (the proprietor) was very responsive and answered all questions within several hours. The pickup location in Portland was right off the highway, very easy to get to. There is a gas station on the way, so it was easy to fill the RV at the end of the trip. We got a 30 minute orientation so we knew how to work the solar power and use all the lights, coffee maker, etc. We were parked for 5 days and ran the vehicle once for about 20 minutes to top off the charge. We rate this a true 5 out of 5.

The van was perfect for our 3 best friends trip up the coast of Maine. We were cost and comfortable traveling and sleeping was good although the bunk is pretty small for the 3rd person. We had everything we needed and loved our time together and the ease of travel and parking Highly recommend!
