Billie the campervan was a champ. The large bed was comfortable and the size of the van was generous.

Had such an amazing 10 days with Billie Goat! Got to experience the sunset and sunrise every day right from the comfort of the campervan!

Brooke is a great host and the van is very pretty and cute.
She gave us a lot of recommendations about the island and some must see spots.
It has great amenities and it’s amazing to sleep at night.

We had an awesome trip in Billy Goat! Allowed us to travel and see more of the island than we would’ve staying in a hotel. Only hiccup was the inverter reading 0 after some rainy days. Overall, a great trip and Billy Goat got us where we needed to go.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time with this van! As stated by the other reviews, it's very basic but the bed is soooo comfortable that we slept so well. My boyfriend is 6'3 and we made it work by sleeping diagonally. We felt very safe and stayed most nights at Spencer's Bay Park in the North of the island. I would definitely recommend staying there. Billie Goat has everything you need for an awesome vacation on the Big Island :) Brooke was an awesome host! Thank you!!

I had a great time visiting the island with the van. It is spacious and allowed me to travel with a bike and a lot of luggage, and I still had enough room for camping. It is old and basic, but was perfectly reliable during my entire holiday. The bed is small, though. I am 175 cm tall and had to sleep in it diagonally (which worked great and was comfortable :)). I did not use the fridge (did not work properly) or the kitchen, but the van comes with a cooler box, which was a good solution for me. A/C did not work, either, so it was very hot in the van during the day. Brooke was very responsive when messaging and Will, who managed my rental and return, was amazing: friendly, uncomplicated, made life easy for me and gave me a lot of helpful tips about camping on the island. Thank you to both of you!

The van got me everywhere I wanted to go on Hawaii island. It’s tall and gives a great view of the road and oncoming traffic. It really guzzles gas, so planning to minimize your miles is both good for the environment and your pocketbook. Brooke was excellent in communicating before during and after the trip and managing the van handoff through an intermediary. The van itself is very basic. I used it to get places, to charge all my devices, and to sleep. I didn’t find the kitchen to be very useful for my needs, and I didn’t use the refrigerator at all because I couldn’t tell if it was working, and even after I wiped it down it had that funky unused refrigerator smell. For my purposes, where I was lugging a lot of camera equipment to take pictures all over the island, it worked great. The interior of the van was neat, but the surfaces were grimy and would benefit from an inside and out detailing just to wipe all the surfaces clean. I would be happy to work with Brooke again.

Super chill and nice hosts. Todd the RV was our best companion and we had a crazy nice trip. I would recommend it to everyone who wants to make nice California memories in a vintage RV.

The Van has everything you need, a little uncomfortable if you are more than 5'5 ft. Far away from the airport of Kona. Brooke is super nice and she gave us many recommendations and spots to sleep. Was a nice expreriencie!

We had a great time with Todd, took him up to Joshua Tree, Inyo and Death Valley for 2 weeks. Super spacious, plenty of space to hang indoors during imperfect weather. Todd may be old but he is mechanically solid - but you have to treat him with care and keep your speeds slow (under 50 mph). Brooke was a great host - she was easy to meet up with in San Diego and very responsive when we had some trouble with the solar panel. We didn’t use the toilet at all - so can’t speak to that, but the water tank works just fine, as do the elements on the stove for cooking. Pretty impressive condition for a van from 1985, but he’s definitely a old man as Brooke mentions, so he’s got his quirks.
