We had a great trip to Broken Bow Lake! The RV was clean and comfortable. We cooked all of our meals in the kitchen, it was well stocked and the fridge was ice cold.

We had a great camping trip thanks to Grant. The trailer we rented was very clean stocked with towels, dishes, pots, pans, coffee maker, Varieties of K cups and bed linens and I also had a nice flat screen TV even an assortment of Children toys. Even though I wasn’t expecting to watch TV while camping it was greatly appreciated on the day of rain. We can’t wait for our next camping trip and we will definitely be using Grant’s RV again!

So I should probably preface my review here with a disclaimer that this was my family's first RV experience, both in renting (from outdoorsy or otherwise), driving an RV 1000+ miles and also living in that RV for over a week! The only reason I bring this up is that I want everyone who's looking for insight into whether renting an RV for the very first time is a manageable idea or not to know that I also had zero RV experience when going into this!Alrighty, now with that out of the way we'll go ahead and move on to the information I feel would be helpful to those considering renting this particular RV or really any (Class-C) RV for that matter. First of all so your research online! I found gobs of helpful info and apps that were integral in my family being able to have a mostly stress free vacation! Now maybe I was alone in feeling a little overwhelmed leading up to my trip, but yeah I highly doubt it. Anyhow, whatever your reason is for renting an RV, if you're wanting to but you're feeling a little (or a lot) worried about all the unknowns involved in renting an RV for the first time, hopefully I can help and also rest assured that Grant makes himself ALWAYS available to help. Personally I wasn't at all comfortable at first but once we were actually camping and in the RV everything became very intuitive and self explanatory. Our trip was a very cold one too, where we had 6+ nights where the outside temps fell well below freezing and close to very small single digits and not once did we have a problem with the RV's ArcticPac (which was a major concern of mine originally)!The only major concern we had was one we knew about before we even got into the RV. The previous idiot renter had cracked the windshield and because of our rental period began immediately after they returned there wasn't time enough to get it fixed. We simply signed a waiver releasing them of liability if we were to get injured (yes I know this was risky, but fortunately it turned it ok) and were told we'd not be responsible for anything involving the already broken windshield and after that we were on our way!Personally I don't feel that we will ever be RV renters again, as it was ultimately too chaotic with time constraints, worrying about my young children potentially breaking anything we'd have to pay for and financially renting simply doesn't make sense. However, hypothetically if we were to rent again I would definitely consider renting from Grant and his wife as they were very accommodating, laid back and flexible people who definitely have gone beyond what is required of them to ensure you'll have an enjoyable experience!If I had any complaints however it is that your last day of camping will basically be a wash as you're required to have the RV cleaned, refuelled and returned by 11am, something we didn't know about in advance (which likely was our fault for not reading the fine print). Regardless of fault, our vacation was still cut significantly short as we had to begin our trip home the day before our actual final day of paid rental. Which means we basically paid for the price of a whole rental day but all we got to do was drive non stop to get the RV back in time, which sucked! In addition to these feelings, we also felt heavily as though we were being rushed to get the RV back to allow time for the repairs from the previous renters windshield screw up and that we were having to worry about the next renters trip getting started, which really ruined the tail end of our trip in my mind! I feel like either the Grant or Outdoorsy needs to step up and implement a mandatory minimum 2 day RV idle period between renters to allow for any repairs and or maintenance to be done. This would allow for a much smoother and WAY less stressful return process!!! However, with that said my kids still had a great time and that was ultimately what this entire adventure was all about so for that I am happy! Oh, oh, oh, and very important, for a family of 5, although it says you can sleep 5 and as many as 6, be forewarned you WILL be tripping all over each other, so you may want to consider a larger rig, as this sort of thing can really ruin the Vaca vibe! Anyways, we had a great time and possibly even found our retirement destination in gorgeous Northern New Mexico, so for that I'm grateful! Thanks again Grant for entrusting me with your $100k tiny house on wheels and i guess we'll see you down the trail!

Thanks for winter camping with our RV and your family. We did offer to delay or cancel your trip so we could get the windshield replaced. The concession was to drive it with the crack and sign a waiver for that. When it was all said and done we were as flexible as possible while still being able to get the repairs done. As a concession for the inconvenience of this, we ended up doing all of the back end cleaning, fueling, and propane fill for our renter, which allowed him to be on vacation for that much longer. We are glad it worked out for everyone involved. Thanks again!

This was a rip off . The RV s secondary power systems didn't work , cockpit was nasty , owner wad clueless with mechanical questions and ripped off $465 of my deposit. I do not recommend this RV rental to anyone

Renters drained battery until it died, then refused to plug it into shore power as I instructed. We detailed the RV prior to his departure as well. The charges to his deposit were due to him traveling nearly 1,000 miles over his mileage allotment, and returning the RV with a broken windshield. Renter threatened to sue me in retaliation for me noting the damages and overages he incurred during his rental period. Our RV is super clean, and has a brand new windshield ready for the next rental. We strive for excellent customer service, cleanliness, and give over the top support for any questions you have during your trip. Thanks!

The RPod was the perfect trailer for a quick, weekend getaway. It was super easy to pull, set up and take down. Grant was responsive and made sure I had everything I needed for the weekend including making sure I had enough coffee! Would definitely rent again.

Great little camper. Very clean. We did have some mechanical issues but we were still able to use the camper. I had to fix the issue myself on the side of the highway and they refunded me $30.00 off of the rental. Communication was great. Owners are very nice.

First time to rent an RV. We have wanted to buy our own, but wanted to rent one first to see if we even liked that kind of experience. Turns out, we're in love with it! This RV is the perfect size, and has all the essentials like home. We were provided with awesome how to videos. Grant responded quickly to all questions and concerns we had. Thank you so much!
