Matt was great. Excellent responder to our questions. The Rebel (Airstream BasecampX) is a beautifully engineered design for such a small space. The two of us ate and slept comfortably.

Camper was great! Just the right size for the 2 of us and easy to tow for us newbies. Matt and Ashley were super responsive and made sure all of our questions were answers. All in, a great experience.

Everything was great and exactly as described
Matt was easy to communicate with and efficient no issues and explained the basics clearly and quickly so we could get on our way
The base camp is exactly as described and was perfect for the two of us and our small dog

Just awesome! Matt is a pro and made newbies feel empowered. The Basecamp is in great condition and everything worked. It towed fine behind our Grand Cherokee from Eastern PA to Northern Kentucky and back. Lots of inquiries about the camper while we travelled. It’s really sharp looking and has an unique appearance. My wife and I can’t wait to plan our next adventure…😎

We were supposed to rent this trailer for four nights back in the summer and due to some concerns we had with COVID-19, we thought about cancelling. I contacted Matt and our initial communication was very good. He worked with us and offered to book us in for a later date. We agreed to this and were due to head up to pick up his trailer for 10/8-10/12. On 9/29, I receive a message that our booking was cancelled. There was no message or explanation from Matt. I messaged him and told him we were disappointed and was everything okay. He ignored my message and then a second message I sent. We were really looking forward to our trip and were very disappointed. My sense is that he probably reserved it to someone else for a longer booking. If this was the case, though we would have been annoyed, we would have appreciated honesty and communication. I cannot speak to the quality of his trailer, only to his poor communication. If you decide to rent this, just be aware that this could happen to you.

The airstream basecamp is an impressive trailer and we really enjoyed our stay. Matt was responsive and extremely helpful in getting us set to tow and maximize the experience.

This was our first time renting an RV trailer and Matt was incredibly helpful and friendly. As you’ve probably read in other reviews, it’s all true...Matt is quick to respond and always available prior to and during your rental. He gave us a detailed overview of the Basecamp and provided us with recommendations for our vacation. If you’re lucky enough to rent the Rebel you’ll be the most popular trailer on the road or at the campsite. It’s a head-turner and conversation starter. I wish we didn’t have to bring it back!

We had a smooth 5 day adventure with Rebel! As RV newbies, Matt's walk-through was comprehensive and gave us the confidence to set out on our trip. Rebel was easy to tow and we enjoyed both our full-service campground stay as well as an electric-only State Park. We would recommend Rebel for outdoor enthusiasts who want to get away, but have all the necessities and some creature comforts at hand.

Matt was an absolute joy to work with throughout the entire process. He was incredibly responsive to not only my questions prior to p/u, but throughout the rental itself. Matt tood about 45 minutes to go over the functionality of the Basecamp at p/u. The Basecamp is an awesome little camper. We had a minor propane issue that Matt was able to talk me through while we were travelling and if anything it probably had to do with us being newbies to RV'ing. You will definitely enjoy your rental experience with Matt!

Matt was diligent and responsive, and very helpful in preparing us for the experience. The attention to help us during the rental period was great. Matt is knowledgeable and a nice guy all along. The Basecamp was in great shape and Matt provided clear explanations for towing and using its features. Overall, a nice experience.

Great experience renting Matt's Basecamp. Easy to communicate with, Matt provided a thorough walkthrough of the features and setup. The trailer was super clean and well stocked with virtually everything you need. First time RV-er and it was easy to tow. I'll be renting again. Unless I buy one for myself!

From the start, Matt was easy to communicate with and very responsive which is always helpful! His Airstream Basecamp X (named Rebel) was perfect for a long weekend getaway for my husband, myself and our pup. It's been a while since we did something other than tent camping and I booked a site with all hookups. Everything about the Basecamp X is intuitive and easy to use, especially with Matt's thorough "orientation" before taking off.
The bed is comfortable and kitchen is well equipped. Airstream's design and engineering makes a small space comfortable and functional. We would rent it again (if we don't purchase our own)!
