Jay was extremely helpful throughout the entirety of the trip. Very easy to communicate with when we had questions. I only give the mechanical 4 stars because the main TV wasn’t functional for much of the trip and it was a bummer to not have the automatic leveling jacks out of commission due to a previous renter damaging them, and Jay was waiting for parts. Excellent experience and would be happy to rent from Jay in the future.

It was a great first experience in RVing. Jay went through everything before we started which was great and having a handbook onboard to refer to was very helpful. We enjoyed the layout of the RV and it had more room then we really needed. Would rent this one again!

Renting from Jay was a top-notch experience from start to finish. His communication with us was always helpful, professional and timely. Before we even picked up the RV we felt familiar with the vehicle due to his excellent youtube tutorials along with his detailed documents and step-by-step laminated booklet.When we arrived to meet Jay and pick up the RV, Jay carefully walked us through everything we would need to know by showing us just what to do in ALL situations. As he did this he was kind, calm, patient and full of smiles. We had never driven a big RV and Jay took us each on a practice ride. By the time we left we felt reassured and comfortably ready for a week of fun.Juuuuust one more thing... I am embarrassed to say, but I drove under the Mackinaw bridge and the clearance was too low and I causes some bad damage to the AC unit (totally stupid on my part and FYI- just slow down and stop worrying about those behind you). When we quickly informed Jay to tell him, the first thing he said was, "Are you all OK?" What a great guy!Yes, rent from Jay Bird's Rentals!!

The RV had some mechanical issues that were not disclosed prior to our departure however they turned out to be minor and Jay was quick to communicate with us regarding them. The additional costs for 'rv prep', credit card processing and the negotiated mileage rate seemed to diminish the overall value for me personally.

We rented this vehicle and made some of the best family memories! This trip made campers out of us. Owner couldn’t be more pleasant and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend to other families.
