We had a cancellation from an owner who sold their RV and Alex was willing to work with us to accommodate our needs at the last minute! He was very helpful and we appreciated his responsiveness as well!

It was an amazing trip in the RV. Worked great. It was very clean. Only complaint is the listing states 6 seatbelts. There are only 4.

I have rented from Outdoorsy twice, my first experience was great (easy and clear communication, perfectly clean RV, friendly RV owner) so I gave it another try when the opportunity came up.
My second experience renting was with Alex and it was not the same as the first time. Communication was not clear, I had to ask multiple times for information before we left for our trip, including information on insurance because Outdoorsy would not cover Alex's RV. Because of this lack of communication before we left, if I had the opportunity to cancel without penalty prior to our vacation I would have. The RV we rented was extremely dusty (when you turned on the AC dust came out of the vents and if you sat something down on a cushion dust blew up in the air). There were stains all over the seats as well. Aside from feeling dirty during our vacation the RV ran well and I appreciated that we had unlimited miles for our trip.

Took the family on a tour of the western United States to visit Mt Rushmore, North Texas, Southeastern Oklahoma, Six Flags Over Texas, El Paso TX, Tucsan AZ, Then back to Washington State. A total of about 5500 miles. The engine was strong and driving was a breeze. All running and interior lights, brakes, transmission, refrigerator, toilet and AC all worked as expected. The generator does consume oil. If your going to need it, then make sure you have some on board. It will cut out when low on oil, or went your fuel tank is less than 1/4 full. The interior is on the worn side. However, this was somewhat of a relief as we were a party of 6 and a small dog. I received the vehicle clean, with the gas and LP tanks full and black and grey water tanks empty. As agreed, since I was driving so many miles was to have the oil changed. We both thought I could just go to a "Jiffy Lube" type place and it would be easy. No such luck in Dallas TX. None of there service bays are tall enough. No luck with Wall Mart either, as most of there service centers suck oil out via the dip stick. The 4 Wall-Marts I tried either didn't have bay doors tall enough or the dip stick tube was to long for there equipment.I then called a Ford dealership that was able to change the oil. Cost was about $50. Many had advised I use a commercial truck stop. They wanted $326. If you need to get the oil changed, save yourself the aggravation of searching and just call a Ford dealership. On another note, the pictures available do not show the overhead sleeping area. It is there and the wife and I made use of it. The boys also appreciated the TV and DVD player. Do bring a programmable remote as we could not find one and the DVD player has no fast forward or rewind.
The RV also has a shower and if extra storage space is needed, there is some space under the queen bed in the back.If needed, I would rent from Alex again. He was easy to work with and I do not hesitate recommending you to rent his RV.
