Meeting for pickup was easy. The host was very responsive and provided all of the extras we requested. We used her chairs, cooktop, sink, shower, cassette toilet and everything worked well. She was also flexible on the return time (thank you, Serena!) it drove well and hot surprisingly good gas mileage. We loved her van and highly recommend renting it, especially if you’re a first timer like we were.

Took the van with my wife and two kids on a camping road trip. Van size was perfect. While on the trip we had a few questions that came up and owner was very responsive and answered our all our questions

Pros: The van was a breeze to drive and fit easily into standard parking spots. The pop-top felt wonderfully nostalgic since I grew up camping and traveling in a EuroVan. It comfortably slept two adults and two kids, and communication with the owner was great whenever questions or issues came up.Cons: We were boondocking at a heavily shaded campground for a week, and the battery wasn’t able to keep the fridge running for more than a day. To conserve battery power, we packed the fridge with ice and borrowed a friend’s generator. Running the generator for approximately six hours recharged the system and bought us a couple more days before needing to repeat the process. This wasn’t the owner’s fault, but managing battery levels and planning around power consumption took more time and attention than we expected. In hindsight, we should have done more research on the van’s electrical capabilities and how they would align with our camping style. This setup would likely work much better for travelers staying at campgrounds with hookups or those driving enough each day to regularly recharge the battery.

Fantastic experience. The handoff was very easy and the van worked perfectly for our 2 adults, 2 kids, and our dog. Will rent again!

Great communication and easy coordination. The RV was great but you will need to watch battery levels and fridge temperature. Very comfortable beds. Overall A+ and highly recommended.

We rented XiaoJun Li's van for our family spring break. Me, wife, and two kids, 7 and 5. We flew into San Jose and took 15 minute uber to meet XiaoJun and pick up the van. Since we were flying in, we had some questions of what to bring leading up to our trip. Communication was great. The van was nice and clean and all our add-ons were included. The sleeping bags are light weight, but no warmth issues at night with temps in the low 50's. We didn't use the van heater. We drove about 3 hours south and camped the first night at San Simeon state beach campground. San Simeon if the ideal highway 1 beach community. We should have spent two nights.We had a few questions for XiaoJun during the trip about pots and pans and using the water pump. She was always prompt and helpful. I recommend bringing extra paper towels and garbage bags. We also had to pick up a lighter. Also recommend packing duffle bags, not rigid suitcases, they fit better in the storage area in the back. We brought all clothes in compressible bags and threw all dirty clothes loose in the duffle. Compressible bags fit nicely into the upper cabinets above the bed.

We loved our week away. The van was meticulously clean, drove well and coped with all the weather California threw at us. The introduction to the van, how everything worked and where the equipment was located was perfect and it really set us up for a fabulous week away touring California and something we won’t forget in a while.

Van was wonderful! Owners were super easy to work with and communicated well. She even gifted my pup a lil dog toy when we completed our trip which was so nice!!! I love dog people and that this van is dog friendly! Totally plus for me! The only issue I had was the mini fridge would not stay cold and I had to just do a cooler and ice but it all worked and they compensated me for the issue . Highly recommend this rental! My pup and I have an absolute blast the van was perfect we will defn rent again!!!

The experience is super good. Everything is prepared beforehand. You literally just need to step into the car to start your trip. The host is nice and patient. Can’t recommend more! Will take this for our next roadtrip.
