my boyfriend and I rented this van for our first yosemite trip, we loved all of the amenities in the van and how flexible pickup/drop off was but we did experience a few mechanical issues unfortunately, the van randomly stalls out on an incline hill if you’re stopped and there’s no power to the gas so that caused a few scary moments with us as we were stuck in spots for a bit unable to move, and that made it difficult for parking/overlooks we wanted to stop at and weren’t able to, it also needs an alignment because the steering wheel shakes over 60mph and the brakes can be a little daunting and not very responsive, I did voice out these concerns and got nothing back from the owners so just be a little weary of the issues before deciding on the van. I will say the amenities all worked great when we needed them so that helped our trip out tremendously but definitely had some scary moments of getting stuck in the mountains.

Christian and Michelle were so kind and responsive. We are camping novices and they helped us navigate everything there is to know about van life. The van was very very comfortable and I was worried that having a toilet in the car could stink but it was completely odorless. I also loved that there was really good cross ventilation in the van. We never felt stuffy. They delivered the van to us spotless and also equipped us with some essentials we forgot to pack ourselves. Would love to rent this again.

Christian and his wife were excellent hosts and were able to make sure my experience was a great one! They were so helpful with any questions and needs I had during the trip. The van was clean and everything worked amazing and made my trip one to remember! I would definitely recommend them!

Having the opportunity to take this camper through Big Sur was an unforgettable and rewarding experience. The hosts provided clear and thorough instructions for use and it is designed for a streamlined entry into a stint of van life. Everything was functional, efficient, clean and comfortable. Made some great memories traveling in this van and would consider it again for future travels in Northern California. Also-pickup location is super easy to get to off the bart/short uber ride. Creates ease when not traveling with your own vehicle.

Overall decent experience, the van is definitely older than presented on the pictures and we had lots of trouble with battery charging and electricity and ended up eating outside and work from cafes more than we wanted. Due to erosion something broke and we waited 3 hours to have it repaired. Annoying during precious holiday time. Also when we picked up the van, which was not in person, the water tank was not filled up and also one tire was flat. Another 2hours where we needed to prep the van ourselves, before we could leave. The host is super responsive and tried to help, but when it came to really understanding the situation and the frustration to have all those issues during a vacation, it was not great and also he left us on read for the ask of reimbursement and now we need to file a case with outdoorsy.

Great van!! Everything worked as expected-- water heater led to warm showers, water tank is large, and we barely needed to refill it for a 2-night camping trip.

Went on a spectacular 4th of July trip over 3 nights to Lassen and back! Christian was super responsive, we were able to find some spots and work from starlink, and we enjoyed staying in the RV.

Christian’s van is awesome! Set up very thoughtfully with everything you need for an adventure short of your consumables. I took the van down the pacific coast highway a ways before heading back up to Yosemite for a bit. 3 nights of boondocking felt luxurious in this rig. The indoor / outdoor shower was perfect, and the addition of Starlink meant I was able to take a necessary work call on the road. If I’m ever back in the area for a similar trip this will be my first choice!

We had an amazing experience with Christian and his incredible van! Christian was an incredible host and very responsive. The van ran smoothly and we had no issues during our trip. The outdoor shower was a highlight. We will be renting from Christian again! Highly recommend.
