Hello!! Thanks for stopping by!! I am a widow dad, Firefighter, and also raising my 11-year-old son. I am mom and dad to him as the beautiful love of my life passed away from a brain aneurysm at 36 years old seven weeks after our beautiful boy, William was born. I still view the glass half full because I have so much gratitude for just what I have and not what I do not have!! Edwin provided a very clean van with extra amenities that we forgot to pack for our trip to Tahoe. He is very attentive to details and it showed in how well kept the van was. The mattress was comfortably firm which I liked. He was very easy and responsive to communicate with. I would highly recommend booking your next camper van rental with him.

Edwin was a spectacular host. Everything was perfect, including the detailed instructions and videos. He thought of everything and went above and beyond to make our trip smooth and hassle free. The van is top notch.

I wish I could give Edwin and Chickpea more than just 5 stars because everything from the booking experience to the return experience was amazing. I rented Chickpea for a 6 day ski trip to Pinecrest with my parents and my 8 year old son, and Edwin was so helpful and kind throughout the entire rental process. When I picked up the RV, Edwin had just finished detailing it and it was SPOTLESS. Driving the RV was very easy - the visibility is excellent, and it doesn't feel like a large RV. There was also plenty of space in the back for all of our ski gear and bags. We stayed at an Airbnb during our trip, but the RV comes fully equipped for 2-3 people to sleep comfortably. When I was looking to book an RV on Outdoorsy, Edwin's reviews are what convinced me to book Chickpea, and I'm so glad that I did. If you're looking for a fun and comfortable RV with a GREAT owner, look no further! HUGE thank you to Edwin!!

My first experience with a sprinter couldn't have been better. Edwin was a great with communication and check in on us to see if we needed anything. Of course we didn't because the van was fully equipped with everything you can think of.. kitchen/cooking supplies, coffee machine, blankets, phone chargers and more. We love the van life and already planning our next trip. Will be renting from Edwin again! Thank you!

My partner and I took the Storyteller to Napa for a weekend of wine tasting, good meals and napping. It was our first time in a camper van, and it was honestly the best sleep we had had in weeks - snuggled up in the comfortable bed with the windows open to the rain and fresh air. We loved the convenience of having all the amenities of home with us wherever we went - ice cold drinks and safe storage of leftovers in the fridge. On top of that, Edwin was a wonderful host. He proactively helped us get familiar with the van's features, was always ready to reply to texts, and was incredibly flexible with pickup and dropoff times. We would definitely rent from him again!

Edwin’s storyteller was perfect for our 2 nights trip to Yosemite. Edwin was very kind and communicative and went the extra mile to make our first ever campervan experience wholesome. I’d love to rent his storyteller again for a longer trip.

It was such a pleasure working with Edwin.
He went above and beyond to ensure my trip was stress free. :)
The van was equipped with everything that I could have needed for my adventure out to Yosemite and Big Sur.
The van drives so smooth and I could go on and on about how amazing the bed and bedding was.
I highly recommend this van and hope to have the opportunity to rent from Edwin again.

Edwin is a great host. We loved using his storyteller Beast mode. It made our amazing adventure up the PCH from San Francisco up through Avenue of the Giants. He is great with his communication in accommodating the pick-up and drop-off times. The van is well-equipped and ready for any adventure you have for it.
