About Joey Armstrong

We are adventurers. Our names are Joey and Ashley and we've been married 17 years. Our wedding invitation said "Choosing to live the adventure together." Two kids (one who uses a wheelchair to get around) and a Springer Spaniel named Penny later, we are doing just that: adventuring. We love traveling to the National and State Parks and exploring God's beautiful creation together, un-plugging from our full lives. Our camping traditions: we watch "What About Bob" our first night in the camper over some delicious local pizza. It always rains our first night. We have a bottle flipping competition. We make pretzel burgers and breakfast tacos. We play Bananagrams and Quirkle. We hope you enjoy our cozy home away from home!

This was such a great camper for our trip! Very new and clean with most amenities already in the camper and ready to go. Joey and his wife are exceptional hosts and they were great to work with. They took good care of us. Highly recommend!

It was so nice to have the camper hooked up! It was spotless, cozy and had everything available to make our 2 week stay comfortable. Joey had provided videos on “how to” in case we forgot something. He also called the night before it was to drop into the low 40s to make sure we knew how to turn the heat on…AND we did the next morning. After 2 weeks all we had to do was pack up our stuff and move out. Joey came later and picked it up. It was a great experience!!!

I rented this camping RV from the Armstrong’s and took my son and dog camping. The RV and the host exceeded all expectations. It was very neat and tidy and I could immediately tell a lot of care had been put into making sure it was perfect for our trip. The RV was stocked with all the necessary essentials and the hosts were thoughtful enough to include a few snacks and card games along with a sweet note. The only thing I had to provide was my groceries. The host provided me with videos of the host demonstrating the ins and outs of the RV which I thought was amazing and were even gracious enough to come and empty the tank for me. I would definitely recommend renting this RV from the Armstrong’s and look forward to the next time I am able to do so.
