If you are considering renting this RV, I strongly recommend that you do not. This is the first time I have ever left a negative review and I don’t like to, but I would hate for anyone else to have the experience that we did. The host has knowingly misrepresented the RV and amenities and rented this RV with a quarter tank of gas (fine, but he later claimed that the gas was full) and was unhelpful and unapologetic about the situation. We had to clean and disinfect the RV prior to the trip and even left it cleaner than we got it. Other things are currently in dispute but if you’re reading this, consider literally anything else.

On Day 2 of your trip, you contacted us demanding a partial refund, claiming the kitchenware wasn't 'complete' enough for your liking. To ensure your satisfaction, we offered a full refund if you returned the vehicle to us that same day. You completely ignored this offer and chose to keep the RV for the remainder of your trip, enjoying our vehicle while preparing to launch a false dispute upon return to get a free rental.
Shop inspection revealed that the AC breaker had simply been switched off. More disturbingly, the brand-new indoor unit had visible mud-stained shoe prints and severe physical impact marks, which cracked the internal seals and ventilation pipes, along with displaced plastic covers.
We provided you with a clean, fully functional vehicle with an accurate fuel log. It is unacceptable to intentionally damage a host's property and manufacture complaints in an attempt to extort a free trip. We do not tolerate extortion or property abuse."

RV is a 2016 so a little old and the owner is trying to make me pay for his AC unit going out. We rented the Rv for 6 days and on day 2 it stopped working. The window on the left side was made out of plastic and taped up shut. The high winds in Blew that open and he wants to charge me for it. Now I keep getting emails from outsdoorsy on all these “claims” he said I’m responsible for. Guy rented out his busted rv and is hoping he can get the customers to fix it. Never again

If the AC stopped working on Day 2, standard procedure requires notifying the host immediately so we can deploy mobile repair or assist you. However, you chose not to communicate a single issue during your entire 6-day trip.
The claims you mentioned are not for 'normal wear and tear.' They were filed because the vehicle was returned with severe, undocumented physical damage. Upon return—which was significantly late and handed off by an unauthorized third party—we found a damaged roof, a crushed rear bumper, a forced window, and an AC destroyed due to electrical overload. The RV was returned uncleaned with full, un-dumped holding tanks, in direct violation of the rental agreement.
We take great pride in offering reliable, well-priced RVs with our guests. We simply expect renters to treat our vehicles with basic respect.

Jerry was very accommodating! The RV is a little dated but that's exactly what I was looking to use on this amazing trip. The RV was filled with dishes and items to use for cooking. The gas stove was easy to use and clean. The RV controls were very simple to figure out as well. Reading the levels of the battery voltage, grey -black -and freshwater levels too. The drive was wonderful. The RV took hills nicely going up and when going down, the RV drove so chill with its automatic downshifting. Very nice and easy to drive for sure! Always use a person to help back up though. While I was away Jerry parked my car in a safe place for my 4-day weekend. I certainly WILL do this again and I can't wait!
