This trailer is a super-slick mini toy-hauler. Our primary need was to transport our 4-wheeler (a 2021 Polaris Sportsman Touring 570), which has an unusually long overall length, and the InTech Flyer Explorer is one of a very limited selection of small trailers that can carry such a toy, and still offer a variety of other interior accommodations. This particular trailer is in beautiful condition and keeps its kitchenette features accessible to the interior, rather than the pull-out, exterior kitchen. We thought we would prefer the exterior kitchen, but we got hit by some strong, unfavorable weather that made the interior sink and cupboards more desirable in the end. The floor of the trailer has been upgraded with a very foot-pleasing surface, but the motorcycle/4-wheeler anchors are no longer present, so keeping the toys secure will require some additional planning - we used our portable canopy and camp chairs to serve as wheel chocks, to keep our Sportsman from shifting during transit - the beds provided good lateral support, once they were stowed for transit. The solar/battery upgrade on this trailer provided ample 12v DC power for our needs - we charged all the phones, flashlights, etc. for our extended group, and we ran the ceiling fan for most of the days, as well as the interior and exterior lights for most of the nights, and we never saw the voltage from the batteries waver. For AC power, it's important to remember that you'll need a generator or a camp site with RV hookups to feed shore power to the trailer's input - this includes the on-board Air Conditioner. We had favorable temperatures, so we didn't need the heating and cooling; we took our own LiFePo4 battery and inverter to supply power to our Instapot and Ninja Foodi. Our battery/inverter setup works a lot like a Jackery, but with more capacity and output wattage...if you use something like a Jackery, be sure its inverter can supply the power demands of the appliances you want to run. The trailer's kitchenette has USB charging ports and a 12v "cigarette lighter" socket, so if you have a 12v griddle (or something like that), you may be able to use the built-in power. In my experience, it's usually more economical to buy a small generator that can supply shore power to the trailer, and use the electric cooking appliances you already have in your kitchen (YMMV); I've been building out a homemade solar generator lately, so that's how I'm getting my portable electricity these days. This trailer doesn't have the exterior shower option with its water pump, so be sure to take your own bathing solution. We have a battery-powered portable shower and a pop-up privacy tent, as well as a "Honey Bucket" which, combined, are a pretty reasonable bathroom-in-the-wild; and this arrangement can be acquired very cheap and easily, so we were utterly unconcerned by the omission of the feature on the trailer (the option to locate your bathroom, relative to the trailer, is nice). We were towing this trailer (fully-laden) with our 2016 Ford Escape (2.0l Turbo EcoBoost), and we found that we were very near the limit of its ability - I would recommend a vehicle with a heavier rear suspension (or solid axle) and a little more towing power...perhaps a bit larger, naturally aspirated motor would be more appropriate (the rear tires were noticeably canted inward and we got reduced power from overheating on a few occasions). That said, it boasts a lot of quality-of-life AND utility features for its weight - there aren't a lot of options in this category of trailers, but we feel like this trailer is a fantastic option for the lifestyle it's meant to facilitate. The owners were super nice - very friendly and accommodating! They took the time to walk us through the trailer and let us know how everything worked. They also had laminated instructions for everything, so the day-to-day use/operation of the trailer and all its features was no trouble at all. We spent some time chatting about features and ideas for use-cases, and it's clear a lot of thought has gone into fitting out this trailer. We highly recommend you consider this for your next adventure!
