Fantastic two night trip with this Subaru! My partner and I had a few days to visit Oregon and wanted to see the back country. We rode three hours to Cave Junction and spent some time in the southern Coast Range, where the smoke was thin and sky was beautiful.The Forester was clean and well-prepared, and drove like a dream. It provided a smooth freeway ride with decent gas mileage and was impressively powerful for those dusty mountain back roads! The car came equipped with a cooler and had plenty of space for sleeping bags, fishing gear, etc. and two people in the front seats, but could probably hold a family of 3-4 with careful packing. The rooftop tent was amazing and could be easily set up within 3-5 minutes, which meant we could explore until near dark without worrying about leaving time to set camp. Two people slept very comfortably in the tent, but you could squeeze in 3-4 people depending on size.Shout out to Nick and Mitch, who were both professional and clearly knowledgeable about overlanding. They even gave us mountain driving tips and suggestions for routes and camping spots! Great company with a great mission-- well will definitely be booking again for our next trip to Oregon!
