We have really enjoyed making this our cozy home away from home. We have four children and love to make memories as a family, while spending as much time as possible in the great outdoors. After all, time is your most valuable asset and should be well spent!

David and Chessy were amazing hosts! The RV was warm and inviting- it was my favorite rental yet! I loved how roomy it was inside which is a necessity with kids and pets!

We rented this wonderful RV two weeks ago, to surprise our son with a unique, COVID-safe 7th birthday trip. Having never stayed in an RV before, we were not sure what to expect. The open communication between my husband and the Hewitt’s made us feel comfortable about the process. They provided detailed instructions to allow us to relax and enjoy ourselves.
After arranging the pickup, my husband drove to the owners’ home with his truck. They were personable, welcoming, and helpful in showing him how to navigate the rig and hook it safely up to his truck. After successfully taking an instructional road test, my husband drove the RV to a local campground and parked it comfortably in a beautiful wooded RV lot. He was able to operate the pop-out and set the place up with ease.
The Hewitt's had gone to extraordinary lengths to welcome us and to make our son’s birthday special. There were Lego-themed birthday plates, napkins, and hats, a cheerful happy birthday banner, and personalized baskets for my son and our daughter, packed with lovely little gifts, such as puzzles, crafts that they pained the next day, special camp lights, and other useful camping-related items. To say that my son was excited is a ridiculous understatement! He couldn’t believe we were having a campout and that everything was decorated just for him… getting him to sleep the first night was a challenge! Our daughter was also beside herself with glee and enjoyed her basket and the adorable decorations in the kids’ sleeping area.
In addition to these special touches for our kids, the owners compiled a beautiful welcome basket that made us feel very appreciated. (My favorite item was the sock slippers, which I have been enjoying ever since!) We didn’t expect anything like this and were so overwhelmed with how thoughtful it was!
The RV itself was spic and span, furnished with all the dishes, silverware, condiments, and other necessary items that we needed to stay two nights (we brought our own towels), and was cozy and warm as we relaxed after dinner and played board games. We had enough room in the fridge to store food we’d packed to make our meals. A glowing heater-fireplace glimmered in the background, adding to the ambiance and providing a homey glow. With our Firestick from home, we were able to watch movies and play our favorite music as well.
Outside, an awning and ground covering were provided. We made a little camp fire in a designated firepit not too far away and roasted marshmallows for s’mores, ate many more than we should have, and dreamed of future trips.
Overall, we highly recommend renting this RV. Working with David & Chessy was wonderful, the RV itself was comfortable and lovely, and the rental experience was packed with personalized touches that made for a lovely and unique experience!
