Communication was great! Pickup and drop off were no problem at all. The only issue we had was that the refrigerator was not working, so we needed to keep everything cold in the coolers, which was unexpected. There was a small refrigerator that we could use when the generator was running, but it didn't hold much. Overall it was a great experience for the long weekend!

The RV drives fine. We booked a different RV but got swapped with this cheaper one a few days before our trip without making up for the price difference. They also charge 300 prep fee and 300 cleaning fee, which is way too much for cleaning up a 23’ RV. And that’s given we’ve done the clean up ourselves. Owner is nice and responsive.

Host were amazing about getting things delivered when we were on a time crunch since our other reservation was cancelled on short notice. They were also super responsive and helpful from going over everything in the beginning and during the trip. I would prefer them to anyone anytime.

RV owner agreed to the one way and we had a lot of fun moving. Driving an RV is tricky due to it's height. RV owner was professional and accommodating. I would recommend renting from him.

HORRIBLE!
July 8th, 2021.
I took a 4 1/2 day trip to Mount Rushmore with my entire family and we all dreaded the long drives in the RV. My family hated this RV adventure.This is an old RV with a lot of hidden problems. Unfortunately you’ll find out when you are an hour or two into your trip and by then it’s too late to do anything except suffer.
It’s not very clean. It’s smelly. Poorly maintained. From the refrigerator acting up, to water pump not working and water smelling. The shocks in the RV are a mess and it’s a very bouncy uncomfortable drive. The engine is a gas guzzler. It gets 5 miles to the gallon.The passenger window next to the sofa rattles to point of being deafening. We had to stick pieces of cardboard in constantly to stop it from rattling while driving. A vent over the driver is broken and was not repaired but rather tied down a black ribbon. It made noise constantly over the driver area and finally when I found out the problem, I had to tie it down couple of times to be tolerable. The sofa bends in at the middle with the springs being bad. and you have to sit at edges only.SECOND
WE STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS IN FIRST 1-2 hrs OF THE TRIP ON JULY 4th. THERE WAS COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE OWNWR AND US IN THE FIRST HOUR.
ALSO I WAS TALKING TO OUTDOORSY IN THE FIRST 2 hrs TO TRY TO CHANGE RVs BECAUSE THE RV WE HAD RENTED WAS JUNK. BUT UNFORTUNATELY BEING 4th OF JULY THERE WAS NO OPTIONS. THERE IS RECORD OF US TEXTING AND TALKING TO THE OWNER AND OUTDOORSY ABOUT THE PROBLEMS IN THE FIRST 2hrs OF OUR TRIP.THIRD
REGARDING THE OWNERS PREGNANT WIFE.
THE OWNER SENT HIS PREGNANT WIFE TO DELIVER THE RV ON THE MORNING OF THE FORTH TO OUR HOTEL. AFTER SHE HANDED THE KEYS OVER AND BRIEFLY WENT OVER EVERYTHING, SHE ACTUALLY WALKED WHAT HAD TO BE EQUIVALENT OF SEVERAL CITY BLOCKS TO TO NEARBY CASINO TO GAMBLE AND SHE STATED THAT HER HUSBAND IS JOINING HER LATER. I AM STATING THAT BECAUSE THE OWNER, Darko, MAKES HIS WIFE SOUND VERY FRAGILE. BUT HE FELT SHE IS TOUGH ENOUGH TO DRIVE THE RV AN HOUR TO US ON JULY 4th AND WALK COUPLE OF MILES TO THE NEARBY CASINO BY HERSELF AND WAIT FIR HIM TO COME TO CONTINUE GAMBLING !!

Ofcourse when you never rented RV before and not even knowing what outside living is about,you wanted to go to RushMore in 4 days and come back with 31 feet RV on the west side where winds blow 30mph everyday.Its 1000miles one way so both ways 2000miles.How possibly you could do 2000miles in 4 days and want to have great time on vacation. I told you 4 days for this trip is impossible to do and to expect great vacation.
Very rude and unpleasant customer who was jelling of 9 month pregnant woman,calling her names and been bulling her ,making her to cry and of course that you will get vide taped and reported for harassment of pregnant woman how rude of you that you are even speaking right now.

Great getaway! This was a last minute idea to break free for NYE. We have told so many people about Outdoorsy and they are amazed this exists. Darko was a gem to work with. Answered my many questions and so quickly, too. His RV was awesome and in super condition. While we were on the road he was super responsive to my husband for any technical needs - no issues - just new users questions. Amazing new experience that we will do again for sure.
