The Mini Mansion was the perfect vehicle for us to attend the Clyne Country Campout. Charlie is a great owner to work with and learn from.

We were running late to pickup the bus and the owner was very accommodating to our revised arrival time. We took this bus to Country Thunder 2022. We had a blast. Comfortable bed and slept like a baby.

Driving the Skoolie through northern Arizona is definitely something we’ll always remember. It’s a fun creative way to get you from point a to point b.. or c d and f depending on how many stops you have on your agenda. The Skoolie definitely allows you plenty of time to soak in the beautiful scenery Arizona has to offer. Charlie was a great host and answered all questions in a very timely manor. Only downfall is that is was very cold at night and we couldn’t seem to get the generator started… good thing the Mini Mansion was equipped with plenty of blankets!

Wow! What an amazing experience! I could live in this bus full time!!! Had an absolutely amazing time! I opted for a few of the add ons like the moped scooter and it was great having that to get around locally and leave the campsite without having to move the bus and potentially loose my spot. Cooking was super easy, hot water was great and didn’t take long to heat up at the sink or shower, Charlie has thought of everything! The bus was fully stocked with plates, utensils, clean sheets, plenty of blankets. Did I mention the bus had INTERNET! I was able to go online and check work emails while Boondocking. TV was a nice touch. Picked up local stations using the RF antenna. Definitely the hardest took some getting used to driving which was stressful on the highway when I first started driving but it wasn’t too complicated after getting used it. Definitely you need confidence and good judgment m behind the wheel of a 38” bus

So I'm rating this vehicle 4 stars, but I want to be very clear that I had a lovely time and fully intend to rent this bus again in the future. My overall trip experience was excellent and one of the most memorable of my life, there were simply minor problems. I'm not sure you could find a better deal for this kind of vehicle.Let me tell you, this thing is cool. It's spacious and feels luxurious inside. I'm 6ft tall and was able to stand straight throughout the vehicle. It has a uncomplicated toilet, an adjustable bed in the rear, generous power reserves, and the solar panels charge quickly and provide plenty of power. There is ample storage for anything you'd need to bring, and it handled an unpaved and slightly uneven road with ease.Charlie will give you a brief driving lesson before releasing the vehicle, which was massively helpful and probably was key in preventing a collision when someone cut in front of me on the freeway. It is not especially complicated to drive, and has an excellent rear-view camera that makes changing lanes and reversing quite simple. I was able to drive to Strawberry AZ from Tempe and back using only 3/4ths of the tank.I used the bus as the main centerpiece of a tiny camping music festival. The cost of the bus itself was a few hundred more expensive than renting a beefy generator. The attached 10000 watt generator worked perfectly and I was even able to use just the solar power/internal battery for a significant portion of the weekend, probably at least 12 hours total powering speakers, a laptop, various phones, and some lights. The AC/Heater worked excellently and the bus insulates very well when all the windows are closed.The only issues were that I couldn't seem to get the sink working properly, and Charlie notified me before the trip that the 5g internet/wifi was not functional and one of the 2 gas burners was broken. I also accidently used up too much internal battery power (instead of running the generator on back) and caused the system to shut down until the sun came up, but that's on me. There is probably a way to power the bus entirely with the rear generator but I wasn't able to figure it out. Most problems that arose were almost certainly due to my lack of understanding of the vehicle rather than any mechanical failure, as I had to rush out of town and Charlie gave me an abridged run-down of the bus.

Everything went very smoothly. Charlie was easy to communicate with. The pick up and drop off were relatively simple. Charlie explained the features of the bus and let us park our car in his warehouse. Our weekend was fantastic fun. People love the Skoolie!!

Charlie is an extremely nice guy and only wants to ensure a good time. The bus is one of a kind. It’s will prove to be a unique experience. I recommend taking during the cool season as there is only AC when parked with the generator running.
