We took Creamsicle on a 3 week long west coast tour for our honeymoon. Unfortunately, Creamsicle had a couple mechanical troubles; fortunately, Heidi and Aaron were very responsive and helpful in working through them with us! Overall we had a very fun time and loved the van. Especially for a longer or summer trip, I would consider the technical limitations of the older vehicle (no A/C, unable to use sink, lost 2 days of trip/campground reservations and paid out-of-pocket for hotel due to faulty wire -- but these last two issues should be resolved for the next renter.) Although I appreciate the memories and Aaron and Heidi's kindness, overall it didn't feel like the best value.

We *love* Creamsicle! This was our second time renting the van. Aaron and Heidi are phenomenal hosts. They've thought of everything to make your trip extra special. And they are so kind too! Pick up and drop off was easy. Many lovely places to see/stay nearby. We took Creamsicle farther this time -- and went to the Olympic Peninsula. Was a beautiful trip. Highly recommend renting Creamsicle and heading out on an adventure.

We had a wonderful experience in Creamsicle this weekend! Our girls loved the “loft” sleeping quarters. Everything worked beautifully and Aaron was extremely communicative, would definitely do another trip in the camper again, thanks!!

We had an incredible time with The Creamsicle. Aaron was extraordinarily helpful and informative, and the van was well stocked for comfort. The van was in perfect mechanical order. It was incredible to be able to take our dogs along as well. We would definitely rent from Aaron and Heidi again!

We had THE BEST time with Creamsicle and cannot wait to rent from Aaron & Heidi again!! As first time Vanagon drivers who've only been dreaming of this experience, our trip could truly not have gone better. Firstly, I really appreciated the personal touch and thought that the Samoras put into the design and customization of the van. We felt confident about using all of the van features and had resources to utilize (even in places with no wifi or cellular) to figure out what we needed help with. The van was very clean, user-friendly, and well-maintained, making us feel confident and comfortable from start to finish. Aaron & Heidi were so professional and kind during our trip, and we are so grateful we found them!

Aaron and Heidi made it such an easy transition to get the van and get it back to them. Everything I needed was there, the pre-trip tutorial was very thorough and they were available for any questions I had.

We had a great trip in Creamsicle! Mostly as expected, had some trouble with the furnace not working but the owners were very responsive and helpful to trouble shoot. Note that you cannot lock the cabin door, perhaps the owner can offer a solution before the next renter so you can feel completely comfortable leaving your belongings / sleeping at night. Otherwise, a great experience! Do it!

We had so much fun in Creamsicle!! It was perfect for our little road trip around Washington (and a huge plus that we could bring the pup). Aaron and Heidi have really thought through the details and provide a thorough explanation of the vehicle in order to make sure your trip goes smoothly. They even have an iPad in the car with instructional videos in case you need a reminder and it can also be used as a gps etc. I will say that on our first night we didn’t realize we had left the parking lights on. Make sure you flip that switch all the way to the left!! That being said, the battery died, however between Aaron’s extremely quick response as well as the help of the Outdoorsh roadside assistance team, we never missed a beat on our trip. Would highly recommend!

What a fun trip in Creamsicle! She ran so smoothly and was a breeze over mountain passes. Aaron & Heidi thought of everything you need and more, perfectly stocked the van. With 3 adults we were very comfortable, and enjoyed our time. Aaron & Heidi were great!- helpful, quick communication, and very nice ! Thanks again!

Everything about the Creamsicle experience was fantastic! The van was so well equipped and fun to drive. Heidi and Aaron were extremely helpful. The how-to videos were especially good for Westfalia novices. Highly recommended for an adventure.

The van was delivered to my front door, Aaron went through and explained every part of the van. My friends and I had the trip of a lifetime, the van was perfect. All three of us on the trip said we want to now buy the same kind of van. Everything was clean and worked perfectly. I highly recommend the Creamsicle, everywhere we went we got compliments on the van. The owners could not have been more nice and very easy communication.

We had a fantastic and fun trip exploring the Cascade Mountains in Creamsicle. Aaron and Heidi were super easy to work with--- we had to pick up Creamsicle early, drop of late. No problem! Creamsicle, despite her age, proved to be a workhorse. There were no mechanical issues, but LOTS of interest from onlookers who reminisced about the Golden Age of VW touring.
