Rented this 2013 Thor Hurricane for a two night family trip to Big Bend National Park. The owner Jaime Carrasco was very friendly and advised me that it had just been used by his son and that the wiring between the generator and the plug in was not working and that if I wanted to use it without running the generator and only using the plug in that I would have to switch some wiring around. He gave me a quick tutorial and it seemed simple enough. However, I don't think he knew that the generator was failing. As soon as we departed from El Paso, Texas the generator kept shutting down and without it there is no a/c to the back part of the rv. Only the driver and passenger sides had working a/c. I did not want to have to cut our trip short so I kept trying to find a way to keep it on. By communication with Jaime, watching videos on the internet, and finally contacting the 24 roadside assistance from Outdoorsy. They were all helpful up to a point but nothing really worked. It kept shutting down on us.
