Overall a good experience.
I give Umaar a (B). Very nice guy who explained to us how everything in the RV works. He was very communicative through out the entire trip.
However next time I will go for a newer model, renting a 10+ year old RV you really can’t expect the best.

I took my 7-yr old son on the road for a Christmas/50th birthday roadtrip from LA to Carlsbad to Tucson, AZ to Joshua Tree using Umaar's RV and it was an amazing adventure for both of us. Umaar was incredibly responsive and helpful when we had questions before and during the trip. The RV was well stocked, easy to learn (it was my first RV experience!) and a fantastic home away from home. My only advice is to take notes on directions for all the electrical instructions and ways to save and recharge battery power. Also, find places on the road where you can plug in overnight as "quiet hours" rules meant turning off the generator way to early in some spots, but that's more about RV'ing that this particular vehicle.

We rented this RV for about 5 nights and had a great time. I had never driven or used one before and Umaar showed me how to use everything before I took it for the weekend. We only had a problem with using the hot water heater, but had we not been in the middle of nowhere, I could have called him to figure it out. I think we just needed to light the pilot light. I don't feel like I should deduct a star for that since we had a camping shower that we were able to use and it was probably smarter since we had to make the water tank last for the 5 days. That being said, I think it's worth to note that for 2 people, you can make all the amenities in this rig last without having to hook up to anything or dump anything. So if you really want to get off the grid, this RV will let you. We mostly used it to sleep in and cook breakfast every morning and a couple dinners. This will sleep like up to 6 people, but if you're looking for comfort, I'd recommend limiting it just 2 adults and maybe a child or 2. I'd rent this RV from Umaar again and recommend it!

Friendly, informative, explained everything well. Nice that there were extra supplies for us to use that we forgot. (Can opener, lighter,things like that.)

Umaar and Sharon were a delight to work with. They went out of their way to educate and bring us first time RV'ers up to speed. Their RV was clean and performed well on our week long trip. I researched quite a few RVs across several websites and theirs stood out as the best deal around for a newer model with the modern amenities. We would definitely rent from them again.

It really was a pleasure renting from Uumar. He went above and beyond to ensure that we had an enjoyable weekend. The service he provided was better than you'd get from any RV rental place. I usually have to drive 15-30 miles to pick up a rig, he delivered his to my office. He showed me everything carefully, provided ample documentation. At one point several hours after pick up he even drove back to show me how to start the gas. Try that RV-America! :) His wife provided toys for the trip for my children, which was a very sweet touch. I really was blown away by their kindness, service and dedication. The experience was much better than anything else I've ever experienced at a professional rental place where you are a number on the assembly line of mass tourism. Thank you!
