Check-In Procedure - Check-in time: 1 pm - Check-out time: 11 am - All camp sites must be checked out no later than 11 am, unless prior arrangements are made. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Vehicle Policy - RVs operating on COTA property must have liability insurance coverage. - Only one (1) tow vehicle pass is permitted per space. - The tow/support vehicle must be parked within your designated RV space. - All RV and tow-vehicle passes must be displayed in plain view upon entering the RV Park and during the duration of stay when issued. - RV and tow-vehicle passes are non-transferable and cannot be duplicated. - Non-permitted vehicles are subject to a tow at the owner’s expense. - Anyone caught with copied or counterfeit issued passes will be removed from COTA property without refund. - Violators are subject to prosecution. - Box trucks, cargo trucks, rental trucks, or enclosed hauling trucks are not allowed. - Washing RVs while in the Park is not permitted. - Performing maintenance or tuning of vehicles within the Park is not permitted. - Tractor-trailer rigs are not permitted in the RV area. - Vehicles must be well-maintained (no oil leaks) and operated in a safe manner. - No repairs or maintenance may be done in the campground, except by approved campground mobile services. - No washing of cars/trucks in the campground. - No more than two personal vehicles are allowed on a site. - Management must approve any additional vehicles. - Vehicles are to be parked only in the space intended. - The common areas are not for parking. - Please do not park in an empty site or on the roadway. - Drive only on the roadways and not through an empty site. - No long-term parking in visitor spaces, unless approved by management. - All vehicular noise is to be kept to a minimum. - Please be mindful of your neighbors when warming your diesel engines; they can be very loud. - If this becomes an issue, you will need to warm your engine by the campground exit. - Recreational use of motorized bikes, motorcycles, or ATVs within the campground is not permitted. - Vehicle and generator exhaust must be expelled away from other campsites. - No flashing lights on vehicles or flagpoles. - Flagpoles must be securely attached to your vehicle. Speed Limit - Speed limit inside RV areas is 7 MPH and will be strictly enforced. - Maximum speed is 7 MPH. Parking Policy - Fully enclosed parking patterns are not permitted. - COTA reserves all rights to change any parking pattern deemed unsafe. Electric Vehicle - Charging of any electric vehicle is not permitted. Quiet Hours and Viewing Practices - Quiet hours are enforced between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM. - Please respect your neighbors. - All RVs must be self-contained; external generators are not permitted during quiet hours. - External stereo or television speakers are permitted, provided noise does not disturb other patrons. - No bullhorns, stage-lights, DJs, or live bands are allowed. - Nothing within the assigned space can block sight lines of other spaces. Tents - EZ-Up tents that are securely attached to the ground in your assigned space are permitted. - COTA reserves the right to have tents taken down if the wind exceeds 15 MPH. - Tents in excess of 400 square feet require permitting from the Austin Fire Department. - No tents in excess of 700 square feet are allowed. Prohibited Items and Activities - Scaffolding of any kind is not permitted. - Ladders and platforms must be permanently attached to vehicles. - No platforms more than 12 inches above the roofline are allowed. - Awnings that are attached to your RV are permitted, provided they fit inside your assigned space. - No reserving unoccupied spaces. - Solicitation of any type is not permitted on COTA property. - Sale of food, beverages, souvenirs, or merchandise of any type is not permitted. - No non-COTA advertising of any kind is allowed. - Please place trash in appropriate receptacles. Fire Policy - Fire lanes must remain open at all times. - Any vehicle blocking a fire lane will be towed at the owner’s expense. - Open fires are not permitted in the RV spaces. - Covered propane grills are permitted. - There are charcoal grills in the pool area for COTA Camping guests’ convenience. Weapons - Firearms, fireworks, and weapons of any type are not permitted. - Violators are subject to arrest. Gasoline and Chemicals - No storage of gasoline. - Please be aware of all carbon monoxide dangers that can be harmful to you or other guests. Swimming Pools and Hot Tubs - No swimming pools or hot tubs allowed. Safety - Kites, sky lanterns, candle balloons, and drones are not permitted. - Public drunkenness, violence, or any disorderly conduct will result in expulsion from the camping area and possible arrest. - All patrons are responsible for their own safety and the safety of others. - COTA is not liable for actions that endanger your safety or the safety of others. - COTA is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen property. Pet Policy - For the safety of your pets and other guests: all pets on COTA property must be kept on a leash while outside their personal vehicle. - For the comfort of others visiting our property, please clean up after your pet. - Only three pets are allowed per RV site. WiFi - WiFi Network: COTA Camping - Password: CampCOTA Mail - The Office will accept UPS & FedEx packages for registered guests. - Personal mail delivery requires you to obtain your own local United States Postal Service box. - Guests may not use the property address as their residence address. Recreational Vehicles - No more than one RV may be parked on a site. - The RV must be well-maintained and in excellent overall condition. - No RVs older than 10 years are permitted, unless approved by management. - Sewer hoses on extended stay RVs should be raised off the ground to aid with site landscaping and to help protect your hose. - Only commercially made tire and wheel covers are allowed. - Washing your RV in the park is not permitted. - Promoting the sale of your RV within the RV park is not permitted. - The concrete pad is for parking your RV. - Parking of tow and personal vehicles is permitted in the lane area immediately behind your site. - You do not need to park on the pavers. - The power pedestal for each site is the one located directly adjacent to the concrete pad. Sites/Grounds/Facilities - Sites must be clean and free of debris. - Hosing down of sites is not allowed and requires management permission. - Trash receptacles are located along the driveway for your convenience. - Only outdoor or patio furniture and items intended for outside use are allowed and must be kept to a minimum. - Indoor furniture such as couches, recliners, and end tables is not permitted. - Clutter and eyesores such as boxes, tools, wood, empty flowerpots, etc., are not permitted. - The following are not allowed on sites (including under the RV): - No Boats, Cargo, or other trailers are permitted on-site unless approved by management. - No sleeping in personal vehicles, sheds, or anywhere outside of your RV. - Open campfires are not allowed, and fire rings must be off the ground. Visitors - Baby sitting on a regular basis is not permitted. - Subletting or timesharing is not permitted. - Children 14 or younger must be supervised at all times.
