Village Camp Moab

Campground in Moab, UT • 91 RV Sites

5.01 review
Village Camp Moab sits just minutes from the entrance to Arches National Park on the south side of the Colorado River — the closest full-service RV and adventure cabin resort to Arches, and one of the most strategically positioned campgrounds for exploring the red rock canyon country that has made the Moab region the outdoor recreation capital of the American Southwest. With the largest RV sites in Moab alongside luxury adventure cabins, vacation homes, and modern casitas, Village Camp delivers the full range of accommodation options for the full range of Moab visitors. Spacious RV sites with stunning views of the Portal Trail and Moab's red canyon walls bring the region's trademark scenery directly to the campsite, with gravel sites positioned close to clean restrooms in a layout designed for large rigs and extended stays. Adventure cabins provide a step up in comfort without sacrificing proximity to the landscape, while 4,000-square-foot vacation rentals accommodate larger family groups who want a true home base for a week of canyon exploration. A pool, laundry facilities, dog areas, outdoor community kitchens, and premium amenities throughout reflect the resort's investment in genuine comfort. Village Camp Moab is open year-round and pet-friendly throughout. The Colorado River corridor surrounding Village Camp Moab is one of the most extraordinarily beautiful landscapes on Earth — layers of Entrada and Navajo sandstone weathered into the fins, spires, and arches that define canyon country rising in every direction from the valley floor. The Portal Trail visible from camp is one of Moab's classic single-track routes; the Colorado River itself provides a natural anchor for rafting, kayaking, and the kind of morning light photography that defines the Moab visual experience. Arches National Park, five minutes from camp, contains the world's highest concentration of natural sandstone arches — Delicate Arch, Landscape Arch, and the Windows Section among 2,000-plus documented spans across 76,000 acres of sculpted desert. Canyonlands National Park, 32 miles south, adds an entirely different scale of canyon geography with Island in the Sky and the confluence of the Green and Colorado Rivers visible from the canyon rim. Dead Horse Point State Park provides the most dramatic single overlook in Utah — a 2,000-foot drop to a Colorado River horseshoe bend that rivals anything in the Grand Canyon corridor. Village Camp Moab operates year-round and serves every season's version of the Moab experience — spring wildflowers and mild temperatures for hiking, summer for early-morning canyon exploration before the heat rises, fall for canyon country color and uncrowded trails, and winter for snow-dusted red rocks in an emptied national park. Reserve well ahead for spring and fall, when Moab's shoulder seasons have become as popular as the summer peak.
